Probably Hasegawa..To me Silence had a bit of trouble against workmanlike techinicans in Chap and Carbajal, who Hozumi is much better than.

Looks like Mabuza will be fighing Abegko though, which will be a great fight I reckon. If Vic goes for Joseph and beats him, then we could be seeing Darchinyan-Mabuza in the not to distant future..which could be deadly for Vic.

^^ hell yea the little guys are the backbone and they are the ones who i consider as " real fighters "...... They're always well conditioned and comes into a fight in shape, ready to fight. Alot of them do lack power but they make it up with their high workrate and boxing skills. And The notion that the little guys don't have power isn't true at all. Alot of the top guys have power. I stopped watching heavyweights when Lewis retired. Doesn't intrigue me one bit unlike the lighter divisions.

Silence mabuza is a damn good fighter and even when losing to Marquez, he gave nearly as much as he took but couldn't overcome marquez' punching power at the end. It's not that his heart or chin failed him. But now he's the MAN in his division and there's no one who could threaten him with their punching power like marquez did. Mabuza aint got nothing to worry about. He's probably the best technical boxer, puncher, and the fastest fighter at 118 at the moment. Him and Hasegawa are both brilliant boxers but Mabuza's hand speed and punching power will be the difference. He would knock Hasegawa out.

What about Abegko? Is he on the same level as Mabuza?

In terms of boxing skills, Mabuza is a notch above Agbeko.. Plus he's more experienced and disciplined. Agbeko is somewhat inconsistent and lazy at times.

Both have good punching power for Bantamweights though.

In Africa, they have been talking about Mabuza VS Agbeko in an all African Showdown for a while now. IT's the best fight that must happen at 118.

Hasegawa has just stopped Vusi Malinga in 157 seconds. I rate him over Moreno, Penalosa and Agbeko in bantamweight. I also think he will outpoint Vic if they are to meet right now. Huge win for Japanese fighter...

Moreno will rematch Sidorenko in May...both are clearly top5 at Bantamweight and can give a hell of a fight to the other contenders...
