Hrgovic accepts Parkers callout - Lets go, lets do it, lets get down to business

I mean not even Zhang could stop Hrgovic with a flash knockdown due to an illegal shot to the back of his head. That shot was timed perfect and Hrgovic also fell out of balance by the drag of Zhang's arm when he came forward.

I just cant see Parker hurting Hrgovic. And he is harder to hit than Wilder with a better chin aswell and Parker is a weaker puncher than Zhang with a worse workrate compared to Hrgovic...

I understand why people want Parker to win due to him being a likeable guy but he just shoulnt be the favorite.

 

Most people didn't see Parker beating Wilder either. As long as Parker comes in at a good weight, he should be able to win. It won't be easy though.

 

I always thought Parker would beat Wilder. Just look up old threads and polls. Styles make fights and this time I would not bet on Parker.

 

I agree with your assessment but we kiwis will be cheering for Joe and hoping for the best no matter who he fights!

 

You didn't understand what I predicted.-- I believe that Hrgovic, who looks less and less interested in every fight, will literally fall asleep on his feet in the middle of the fight. The ref will have no cholce but to stop it.

 

I think you are a bit too harsh on poor Herq here. The young man lost his father but still managed to beat Zhang comfortably (imho) and has since beat some journey men aswell quit convincienly.

Too me it looks like he has found his mojo back. I have always predicted from the very start of his pro career that he will be the champion after the likes of Fury and Joshua and nothing has got me to questioning that vision. Somebody like Joshua lost to Ruiz and looked way worse than expected. Tyson Fury is his own worst enemy. Wilder was always suspect as overhyped. Parkers power got exposed against high quality opposition etc etc.

 

Thats perfectly fine. Parker is a nice guy nothing against him. Im more glad than anything that he and Hrgovic even thinks about to fight eachother in this stages of their careers thanks to his excellent exellence.

 

I'm still not sold by either Finkel statement, as he never state Wilder accepted the Zhang fight. All we know by far is Wilder is not accepting the Zhang fight. And all we know is Hrgovic is always talk big.
We will see if Hrgovic will deliver and fight Parker.
His recent opponent level is speaking something completely different to me.

Huge credit for all the players if Hrgovic, Parker, Zhang, Wilder fights any of the mention names, doesn't matter in what order.
But i will believe it, when the fight is signed.

 

How many fathers has this guy got because he has looked disappointing his whole career.

 

And he is still winning. I dont see the same fighter as you. He has excellent workrate especially for his size. A good example is Pulev vs Hughie Fury compared to Parker vs Hughie Fury. Against Parker Hughie could box as he usually does. But against Pulev he gased because of the pressure.

I argue Hrgovic has a better engine than Pulev and puts on even more pressure.

Hrgovic is very similar to Vitali Klitschko in style.

 

Just took a look at some recent Hrgovic fights

Slow, ponderous, not impressed. He looked better in the Ams

 

Hrgovic by decision. Parker is good but lacks that extra gear. He didn't need it vs bum ass Wilder.

 

Hyrgovic is well in line for a title shot but would have to wait possibly 2 years to get his shot, if Fury and Usyk have 3 fights. Parker will not fight Fury but would be in the same position waiting to box Usyk if he comes out as undisputed.
SO I think this one is quite likely, though im not sure they will box on the March bill. Maybe the end of the year?
Hyrgovic the bigger more powerful man plus just as good a boxer as Parker. He takes it on points for me.

 

I've always been a big fan of Parker's courage to face difficult challenges. If he gets into the ring with either Zhang or Hrgovic I have to give even more credit to him.
