Zhang has an impressive Amateur background no doubt, but his professional career not so much. He's been a pro what 8 years ? And has not beaten a single Heavyweight ranked in the top 10, nor has he beaten any notable Heavyweights. And a few fights prior to the Hrgovic fight, he had a draw against an unknown opponent. I also didn't like the way Hrgovic was reacting when he was under pressure, it gave me Andrew Golota vibes and I wasn't impressed. Overall I'm willing to give Hrgovic another chance to see if he can improve, but trying to hype up an old Zhang who hasn't really done anything of note as a professional. To try and make Hrgovic's poor performance look better is not a valid excuse.
No, he can't. He has a lot to improve and I hope he'll do, but currently will hardly be in the top 10.
Eh, he beat Zhang clearly, but looked like **** in the process. No need for a rematch. He needs to step up the opposition. An impressive win over a Whyte or Luis Ortiz type opponent would be a step in the right direction.
I think the era after Usyk/Fury............. Jalolov, Hrgovic, Joyce, Gassiev are probably gonna be champs.
My post history is anti bum dosser. Where they are from is irrelevant. They call me the can man because any man can get it.
