Don't see any evidence of that. He ate big bombs in WSOB and amateurs and thus far has shown a fairly sturdy chin. The other 2016 SHW Olympians who turned pro are all far more suspect. Yoka, Joyce, Ajagba etc.

 

I hope these fights are just a warm-up before some bigger opponent...

 

I was actually confusing him with Yoka!!!

Still, he does need to step up the comp. When fighters pad the record with stiff after stiff, it does raise questions about whether they can take a punch in the pro game.

 

Filip could do with upping the standard of opposition imo. Maybe with the Covid situation, it's probably more difficult to get fights, but it's time he was matched with someone a little better.

 

Could end up like Dillian Whyte though.

 

Based on what? He's one of the few heavyweight prospects who's never been down or stoped as an amateur or pro.

Covid-19 has hurt the development of prospect. Hrgovic bettered those he spars with has has done so in the past. He's a highly avoided prospect. If he was British, he'd be packing them in.

After he Ko's Pala his manager needs to get him a fight with the highest ranked opponent that will accept and that includes Fury if he dares to accept.

That's what I'm saying. You fight this caliber of fighter, it does nothing for your development. Until he fights a live body, the jury has to be out on his mandible.
