If you find this card mediocre I think you just don't like boxing, there are lots of interesting fights. Hrgovic's fight isn't one of them though.

Fighting de Mori is a real sign of confidence from him and his team!

Nice to meet you Mrs. Hrgovic. Your son isn't that good.

Strange thread w/OP Haviton making some fair points but also over the top at times. Over- under- or fairly rated, Hrgovic is being avoided by many top 10 HWs. If the OP is wrong, and as some suggest Filip isn't all that, than why is he being avoided?

You raise something I've been wondering about. Why is DD getting so many opportunities? Well, I suppose it's obvious considering how corrupt pro boxing is. AJ is another golden boy from that same nation. The way rematch clauses are written for AJ, it appears all he has to do is win 1 of 2 and he's the... winner and can move on. While his opponent has to win both to be successful, like Usyk. WTF is up with that?? Ruiz is easy to criticize, but is 1-1 vs. AJ. Doesn't AJ owe Andy a 3rd fight? Instead of Franklin or Helenius, why not fight Ruiz? I'd favor AJ and that would've made more of an impression than wins vs. limited Franklin & past it Helenius.

After the Fury v. Usyk stuff plays itself out the belts are likely to get scattered and Hrgovic stands a fair chance of sporting at least one of them for at least awhile.

The hype got a little ahead of him about five years ago when some were proclaiming him the next Vitali after he stopped the Molina and Mansour with ease, but even now there's no doubt in my mind he's in the top half-dozen or so heavyweights and capable of giving the other members of that elite club a competitive fight if properly trained and motivated.

same with Whyte. He got knocked unconscious by old man Povetkin, yet only had to win the rematch to get a title shot. The only country that really cares about boxing anymore is the UK, so their fighters get every advantage.

That statement is obviously wrong. For example, boxing is a huge deal in Eurasia and Mexico.

Povetkin knocked him out cold, he should have gotten the title shot.

So like I said, Brits get every advantage.
