Hrgovic: If I lose the next fight, I will retire.

Why would anyone want to fight Joyce, Parker or even Ortiz?
But oh no, they got big fights!? How could that be?

Why would Takam fight Makhmudov but Hrgovic can´t get anyone on his level? It´s almost as if Hrgovic was just happy to sit on his ass and wait for that undeserved title shot.

Chisora? Did You forget how he act when Haye want make his fight vs Joyce when he was Joe manager? He threatened David that he will be have problem if he show up in London if he will try talk about this fight one more time.
Chisora is brave but he is not idiot. He take money fight. He dont risk his health with this power puncher for small cash.
He dont want have nothing to do with Joyce and same will be with Hrgovic.

Parker? When IBF offer him fight he said "no". If I good remeber he lost his position in this federation for that. Some people write here that he was injured. I never read about that but even if this is not Hrgovic fault. And his manager said Filip is not cash fight.
And last time before fight with Zhang there was plan for Hrgovic fight vs Parker and Zhang vs Wilder. Probably because Wilder dont want fight in that time and they already got contract for Zhang they reeplace Filip with Zhilei. Again not Filip fault.

Takam? Takam lost before time with Joyce, Chisora (bad luck but still). He is not soo high this days in hw rating. And I dont think he will want fight.

Filip is not soo big money fight (now Saudi make difference) and BIG risk. That's why almost all go other way.

Again not his fault and he cant do much about that. When he got chance he take it just like now and like vs Zhang. Its very naive belive that he is problem.

Hughie Fury was never a draw. His fights were not big paydays, yet he somehow managed to fight: Povetkin, Pulev, Parker, Hammer, Wach and heck! Might as well throw Rudenko and Arias in there.

Hrgovic stopped trying once he landed that IBF ranking. Before that he actually fought some decent names like Amir Mansour and Kevin Johnson. Heck, to be honest, Hrgovic came out firing as a pro: Raphael Zumbano, Pavel Sour, Tom Little and Eric Molina are excellent names for a rising prospect. Hrgovic also had no issue taking small paydays in various countries.
But once that ranking was given, he just turned off and sat there waiting for his undeserved title shot.

The dude is not some big KO monster that ends careers. Just a once promising prospect and now a contender.

Its normal that he as number 1 at IBF wait for federation move because end of the day its his one and only quarantee for titlle fight.
If he will be the one said "no" for their eliminator fight he will be throw lower at rating and lost his "bargaining chip".

He actually fight with first person who said Yes to fight him in rating- Zhang.

They try make many fights. You can belive he is just contender but for some reason all this dudes choose other way.

 

I didn´t say Hughie was an option. I showcased how someone like him was still able to get credible opponents in the ring with him.

Regardless, I have said what i think. Hrgovic clearly was happy to just sit on his ass and wait for a title shot.

 

Dude. Fight with Pulev was official mandatory from IBF. Hughie and Kubrat must take it. Fight with Parker? It was titlle shot...
When he took Povetkin fight he already was explained player in Hw.

And really You dont see the difference? Why people took fight with Fury who got totally pillow fist and problem with phisical strenght vs took fight vs puncher like Hrgovic?

Off course Hrgovic carrer should look better but end of the day its not his fault that soo many boxers dont want share ring with him.
As I said before. Official "no" list is long and there is lot of better names than Wach, Rudenko or even Takam...

I mean it has to do with promoters too. Hrgybear gets some blame too for not having a promoter that will really push for him. Parker also has a much bigger fan base.

 

This should be a good match. I slightly favor Hrgovic but feel it could go either way.

 

He has been rejected, on paper, by more people than Joshua fought

 

We fail to comprehend how big Hrgovic is with experience, whilst Dubois by volume, by years, by sparring sessions, by fights, by the struggle of being a nobody from no-named country, pales in comparison.

Dubois is a such a great kid, funny, little dumb but he gots the balls he goes in and has experience against good fighters like Joyce and Usyk. He has big advantage over croatian by being british alone.

Hrgovic is an Elite amateur, he has been in a sport for almost as Dubois has lived. He faced everyone in amateurs, and in pros everybody be running away from him, and he took Zhile Zhang, a man everybody be running away for years aswell.

If Hrgovic, a man who built his career from nothing, loses it all by getting KO-ed by Privileged british boy scout without amateur background. He has no right to be in the boxing sport anymore.
