So Hrgovic won against Joyce, not great, not terrible performance. Now it is clear he has very big problem, and that is his power, he just cant KO big fighters, top 15 fighters.

So what would be good fight for him now? Dubois, Parker and Kabayel are out of the equation at this time.

Bakole, Whyte and possibly AJ (if he wants to come back)

Joshua is still a big name and he would be an ideal opponent for Hrgovic, but Joshua still considers himself world class and a fight with Hrgovic would be beneath his honor, so we can forget about that fight, his second best choice would be Bakole...

    Joshua will probably fight Fury

But if Fury opts out, Joshua needs a name for his comeback, and Hrgovic is medium risk.

Whyte would be a good fight if I'm team Hrgovic, still a big name but little risk. Probably gets the stoppage. Then move onto one of the bigger names on the list.

Any of these besides Joshua are fine fights. AJ should be fighting Fury, let's see that before it's gone forever.

Croat has done everything he can to get the AJ fight, be mediocre but still win.
The question now is was he still a little too tough, a little too young in the tooth?

Hearn doesn't really want an opponent that can absorb damage and then turn the tide. That's literally one of the blueprints to beat AJ. They want people who will be easy to finish. The perfect opponent is one who shows up, puts up a bit of a fight for five rounds to justify the match, then gets nailed and falls over. That's why they dodged Joyce in the first place. But Zhang showed it wasn't too hard to finish him really.

I'd be surprised if Joshua took it, too much risk for too little reward.

I was thinking Whyte would be a good fight, he's easy to hit and Whyte's chin isn't great so even Hrgovic might be able to take him out. But Hrgovic lacks an uppercut to find Whyte's usual off switch. Would be entertaining too, as Hrgovic brings it and Whyte doesn't have the footwork to get out of the way.

Bakole would be another fight I'd like to see. Bakole can crack, but he won't test Hrgovic's gas tank and Hrgovic might have the best chin in the division. But I'm not sure Bakole would take it, they've talked about this fight on more than one occasion and it's failed to happen.

Zhang rematch would be good, but Hrgovic already has the win and might see it as a backward step.

Andy Ruiz Jr right now is so far out of the picture scraping a draw with Miller that honestly I don't see the point unless they can't find anyone better.

A fight between Hrgovic and Chisora would be quite entertaining.

Chisora would seem the perfect AJ opponent right now. AJ would be a heavy favorite there and hold every advantage other than heart/toughness, and between the two of them, they could sell out any stadium in the UK they wanted and pack every bar (point being, could be pretty high purses for both).

Hopefully he'll be back again sometime this summer. If that's the case then Chisora or Whyte would probably be the most likely opponents.

I would like to see him vs Huni.

Or vs Kabayel if he is interested in elite opposition.

I would love to see him fight Kabayel. I think that’s a tougher fight for Kabayel than people think

Hrgovic vs Kabayel on Europe soil (not UK)
