Who will he fight next? The champions Fury and Usyk have big fight lined up meaning the earliest he will get a shot will likely be the summer of 2022. His best path appears to be the winner of Usyk vs Joshua II, but the question remains who will he fight next? Maybe Wallin?

He's cracked the top 10 by facing no one of remote importance, he might just stick to that strategy.

Rivias leaving the division opened the door for somebody to enter at #10 . That should have been Otto Walin or Frank Sanchez imo

Speaking of Otto Wallin ... he faced Fury (and gave him a good fight) and Breazeale (crap, but probably better than anyone Hrgovic fought) and gets no ranking from Ring magazine.

It would be nice if someone did fight Wallin before the year is over, since Whyte pulling out has messed up his career plan.

Cool. IB from 2018, not yet completely disillusioned and fed up w/ Stone Man Hrgović and still optimistic about him carving out a meaningful HW legacy, would be super excited to hear it.

Well, the IBF isn't doing him any favors. He was supposed to fight in an eliminator for that belt, but the entire IBF top 10 turned him down.

The IBF didn't do anything about it.

The WBA mandatory is up next for the Usyk-Joshua 2 winner (before the WBO or IBF mandos).

Trevor Bryan has the WBA belt. Usyk is their Super champ. Helenius is the mando, whether that means the mandatory for Usyk or Bryan I'm not sure.

Hrgovic and his team should target Bryan or Helenius next. If that doesn't work. Try to get the IBF to commit to that mandatory fight again.

The IBF mandatory comes after the WBA mando. Just keep working the orgs.

Why would Rivas leave the division when he can straddle both divisions?

Who'd Fury fight for his 13 first fights? Wilder for his first 13? Joshua? Hrgovic is ranks faster and did not struggle! He bites though who they have put in from go home. Hunter dropped out of their fight rather that face him. For shame. Be that that it may be, he's raked 3rd is the IBF. It's only matter of time.

It's almost like The Ring rankings are not worth the paper they are printed on, isn't it. Maybe they can put Kownacki back in the top 10.

Idk. Croatias media is **** and does not push Hrgovic. His Promoters and Management sucks too. How could they even lost Bakole. Idk I don't believe he will fight even someone top 100 next year.

Hrgovic has the same best win as Babic, why not rank Babic instead? His KO % is higher. Lmao

Is Hrgovic not known to most people in Croatia?

I'm not expecting anyone decent for his next fight, fact is he's poorly managed, promoter lacks influence and he's right now seen as too much risk for too little reward. Securing a decent opponent with any name recognition will be hard.

He has limited options right now, if I was him I'd try and secure a fight with an opponent in a similar situation, like Makhmudov who like Hrgovic lacks the promotional clout to get many opportunities and so might risk a fight with Hrgovic as he too has no other options available.

Yes he is, but the media is just to weak overall. Croatia is just a too little country, no one cares for it. Look at Babic, he is supported by the UK media and does pretty well.

This is a media fight and one that Hrgociv would win easy. If a better opponent can't be found, soon why not?
