I don't know why it's like that, but it's not fair, Ruiz will certainly not agree to something like this.

Filip Hrgovic will enjoy the favorable end of the purse split with Andy Ruiz.

That’s if their fight actually sees the light of day.

The IBF Board of Directors voted on Wednesday for the ordered Hrgovic-Ruiz interim IBF heavyweight title fight to carry a 60/40 split in favor of Hrgovic. The ruling comes ahead of the scheduled purse bid hearing due to take place Thursday, 12:00 p.m. ET at IBF headquarters in Springfield, New Jersey.

Purse bid is cancelled. Ruiz ducked, as expected.

    So no Wilder-Ruiz and Hrgovic-Ruiz?

Ruiz will make a lot more money fighting Wilder. That's not a duck.

Ruiz had a valid reason not to accept this fight, which is understandable, but that is not the reason that Hrgovic should wait for some kind of big fight now, there are plenty of fighters and he needs to fight and not just train intensively...

A fair split would be 80% for Ruiz and 20% for Hrgovic.

Why would Ruiz accept this? Previous champion, has fought against much better than Hrgovic.

I think Hrgovic gets slapped around. He struggled against grandad Zhang.

    Ruiz wins via decision.

I fail to see why Hrgovic gets the bigger split, he's done nothing to prove himself. He reallly should be giving Zhang a rematch as he was lucky to get a decision against him last time.

    No I'm being genuinely serious

Ruiz is trash. He's overhyped and people like you contribute to it. Zhang is way taller than Ruiz, better than Ruiz and fights nothing like Ruiz, so Hrgvoc struggling in his last fight is nothing to go off of in this case. Ruiz is very good up close but his feet are cement blocks and he is short as hell. Anyone with a jab can beat him, especially a tall fighter.

Bro was literally getting outboxed by an ancient Ortiz and had problems with a shot Arreola

I'd like to see Hrgo vs Dubois. Makeable fight and pretty good matchup.

The next opponent in line for Hrgovic is Bakole, and if he refuses the fight, then the opponent should be Sanchez, I guess one of the two will agree to the fight...

20% is something and if he gets the win then he gets much closer to becoming a star or getting a title shot.

Exactly. If Hrgovic was interested in fighting anyone with a pulse after the gift he got in his last fight he’d realise this.
