Hrgovic says he would be more than happy to fight Moses Itauma...

Hrgovic was never off his feet. The fight stopped off cuts.

to see a chin comparison, look what happened when AJ fought Dubois. The same punches that only busted up Hrgovic’s face (and couldn’t knock him down) drilled AJ into the canvas every single time they landed.

Hrgovic is absolutely not one of the elites of this era. AJ is a better fighter than him and has accomplished a lot more. But, chin and durability? Hrgovic has probably the best in the division.

You know it isn’t uncommon for a guy who ain’t the best to be the most durable right? Happens over and over in boxing history. Chuvalo, Cobb, McCall, Mercer, etc. These guys would all walk through shots to land a punch. Some of them, like Mercer, made it part of their fight plan — Mercer’s plan in big fights was clearly to take every single chance to land a big punch and count on his ability to soak up what he got hit with if it didn’t work out. And, then want to talk about what happens when one of the guys who really is one of the most skilled is one of the most durable? Well, you get a four time HW champ (who was robbed of his fifth).

Am I the only one with a feeling Itauma might be a bit Price-esque? The amount of hype he has compared to his lack of activity is a bit off imo, especially for a prospect. He also hasn't faced a decent puncher to chin check him.

Big step up for Itauma if it happens. He hasn't fought anyone close to being as good as Hrgovic and you have to wonder what happens if Itauma can't take Hrgovic out early. Hrgovic might have one of the best chins in the division, Zhang couldn't stop him, Dubois never had him off his feet.

Itauma stopping Wach so quickly was impressive but Wach was ancient and shot and so we really don't even know if Itauma's power is legit and could put a dent in anyone at the top level. Guys like Hrgovic and Parker looked like huge punchers too early on but when they stepped up their power became far less impressive.

Simply too many question marks over Itauma right now to favour him over the flawed but far more proven Hrgovic. Would be a very bold move by Itauma's team if they accepted the fight. A win, especially a stoppage win would send the hype to a crazy level.

    Lol!! Nice try

The Zhang knockdown was very borderline. Could’ve easily been waved off as a push down or on the back of the head. But it’s more so a legit knockdown I’d say. Close! But either way… Zhang is a huge puncher. And he landed absolute nukes on Filip the whole fight and what happened?? Filip stayed upright and landed his own.

That goon dubois never even came close to knocking down Filip! lol! And that’s with all the blatant head butts he landed as well! ;) He really didn’t think anyone would notice though. lol SMH :lol::lol:

Hrgovic has probably the best chin in boxing. Right up there with The PFP#1’s Usyk I’d say

Come on, quit denying. Your get cut when you get hit hard in the face multiple times, it's not supernatural.

Dubois beat him black and blue, and Hrgovic was so exhausted, he couldn't throw anything in last 2 rounds. 1 more round and it would be night night for him. He was happy that the ref stopped the fight and he didn't protest. He was done.
