Fury maybe a bit like Lewis, only turns up when he feels properly threatened by the opponent. We'll see in a months time, if so Fury will get the win.

How about some recent output stats?
Fury moves and jerks more than he throws
At least Wilder throws 17 inside one windmill

While I hope he's right... I dont really see how anyone can confidently pick Wilder here. If its because Fury is mentally unstable, well... he was in the first fight too. If its because hes looked bad leading in to this fight, he did for the first one too.
Its literally the reason I picked Wilder to win the first fight. And out of nowhere Fury shows up almost as sharp as he's ever been.

So while Id love to think Wilders gonna get him out of there this time, its just hard for me to be confident in his chances, considering that not much has changed since their first fight.

The only plus I see is that Fury has switched trainers... maybe that will screw up his rhythm a bit.

In fact, if Fury does what he says hes going to and comes out strong and on the attack... I think that will pose problems for Wilder.

Of course... the Wilder wild card is that at any moment he can indeed land the fight ending punch. Hes going to be coming in heavier now too, so he will likely have more power behind it.

Cant wait. Genuinely cant call this.

ok il give you recent average output stats

    65 per round v pianeta

    37 per round v klit

    39 per round v wilder

    61 v wallin

Not bad at all. And he out threw everyone apart from wilder, but obviously wilder landed an embarrassing 17%

wilder threw on average 7 more punches per round than fury.

I do actually think Fury exposed Wlad's lack of confidence at that time, his head was gone due to his personal life, as well as past prime, but I also think Wlad got himself back together and had a determination against Joshua and if the rematch with Fury had happened I think he would've beat him. Prime Wlad imo stops both, even the jab and grab version, he was a master with it until he knew you were ready to go, took an eternity though most times with his safety first approach

As much as I really am not a fan of wlad, AJ is tailor made.

Prime wlad would have him in range, would control centre ring and would be landing the jab at will.

the age old styles make fights!

Fury has a much harder time with AJ etc

Like he did against the slow 50 year old Ortiz? The Ortiz that stood in front of him all night?

He better hope a few of his 17% land flush on the chin otherwise he is going to be humiliated.

    that’s cool, don’t get me
Wrong on the whole fury fights ARE boring...but it’s generally because the opponent stops throwing

you gotta respect wilder, was getting completely outboxed, never gave up and landed the 12th round bomb
