assuming this would land on Povetkin v Whyte Undercard or would it land on a US show.

Hrgovic boxes his head off and puts himself front and centre as the number 1 new HW contender in the world.

Heard it would be chief support for Saunders vs Andrade if that is made for March

If Hrgovic doesn’t knock him out I guarantee he will get it on the cards instead no matter how much success Hunter may have. I think Eddie is thinking he can go all the way and thinks of Hunter as a stepping stone.

I don’t. I think what Eddie sees is a win win opportunity. Eddie will have options on the winner. If Hunter wins and impressively, on a big card he’s got a sort of star name in the making finally at heavyweight in the US. If Hrgovic wins then he will become a star or at least progresses on the path to stardom with a big name.

Pretty sure Hunter has left Eddie for PBC.

Be ironic if it landed on the Whyte Povetkin bill as it is a better heavyweight fight.

Hrgovic is getting a big following in Croatia and Eddie has already hinted about doing Hrgovic v Babic over there. He definitely see's pound signs when looking at Hrgovic. Cards will be tipped in his favour.

Good fight if made but I'm surprised Hrgovic would jump straight to fighting a contender without having a "stepping stone" kind of fight (ie a Chisora level fighter) Could end up like the DD/JJ fight.

It’s funny how Hearn comes out with this news around same time we find out whyte needs a new opponent.

he knows Hunter is all wrong for whyte and he knows hrgovic is more than capable of knocking Dillian spark out.

can’t risk whyte losing to another opponent now.

It’s a strange move by Hearn as Matchroom released Hunter a good few weeks ago. If this is made, it’s a great match up but I’m guessing the odds will all be stacked in Hrgovic’s favour.
