Awesome video, I want that fight to happen, Joshua is more dangerous than Wallin and the money is bigger, that fight would also be an opportunity to see where Hrgovic is and how good he really is, Joshua can also profit, the fight is risky but that's it what makes it interesting...

Absolutely agree Rummy, all of the alphabet organizations can get bent! They've turned the greatest sport in the world into something to be laughed at & ridiculed.

A bodybuilding bum like AJ beating hurgovic then prancing around claiming to be a 3x world champion acting like he's Muhammad Ali is a travesty.

Then he'll want Fury of course (who will have beaten Usyk the man AJ could never beat) but guess what that fight is dead unless Saudi money comes through again. Doesn't matter how big a domestic fight it is it doesn't generate enough Dosh.

Sneaky feeling Hurgo would chin AJ anyway. I expect Hearn would let his golden goose get flailed by Wilder for a big enough Saudi cheque anyway. Eddie is living on a prayer his time has ran out.

Usyk and Fury earned every belt and title they have the hard way. No politics. No bought belts. No corruption. The cream of the crop slaughtering the competition with skills, heart, bellies and balls.

And you'll see how good sportsmen handle defeat as two undefeated super champions. Although sneaky feeling team Usyk are going to cry about the clinch work but that's almost fundamental to HW boxing at the highest level and they must accept that.

I think what they are trying to architect is to first have Fury vs Usyk for undisputed. Then strip the winner.

Let’s say the winner is Fury. And then Joshua wins vs Hrgovic. then they can AGAIN market Fury vs Joshua as the unification fight for undisputed.

Nice video Rummy (you don't even have a video which is a total failure IMO). Although as much as you explained some things to me, you confused me as much. The stripping of the belts from Fury and Lewis led me to the conclusion that we boxing fans need to give more importance to the Lineal belt.

A bit annoying, but won't mean anything to me that the winner Of Usyk-Fury doesn't have the IBF belt since he will be the champion anyhow.

Well, just as long as people don't go around calling the IBF belt holder for a "world champion". That would bug me a bit. Like those saying that Wilder has more championship defences than Ali in his first reign or that Ottke, GGG, Wlad etc have more than anyone.

The holder of the IBF belt will be a holder of a belt, that's all. Usyk or Fury will be the champion.

Hrgovic-Joshua is a good fight, though, and the winner has a good case for being top contender, whatever the aplha org politics say.

I know it prolly sounds silly, but I actually got pretty bummed out when I first heard this news. I mean, I know that in the end what matters most is the best fighting the best, and the winner of this fight would rightly be seen as the real undisputed champion in the eyes of most whether all the belts are on the line or none of them are. The most important thing is it looks like we're getting this soon, and I'm ecstatic about that.

But I was also looking forward to the winner in the following fight, whether it be a rematch or a mandatory, getting introduced as the undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion of the world, if only for the novelty of it. You mentioned that it's been over twenty years since we last had an undisputed champion/fight at heavyweight, and that fact alone is bad enough, but it's actually even worse than it is at first glance. It's been 23 years since the last undisputed unification fight (24 by the time this will actually happen), but it's been over thirty since one man brought all of the belts into a fight with him at heavyweight.

What makes the whole IBF situation all the more more frustrating is, there's a perfect solution right there. Just order Hrgovic to fight Wallin/AJ for an interim title. That way the IBF gets the sanctioning fees from both undisputed fights as opposed to one, and an extra one from the interim fight and any potential fights that "champion" might have while waiting for the rematch to unfold. Boom, everybody wins: all four belts get to be on the line both times and their interim titlist either gets his shot at undisputed or gets elevated should the winner choose to vacate. These organizations pass out those interim titles like candy all the time, why make the exception when it's least convenient for everyone involved
