No. He's knocked out a tough journeyman in Rice, a big long-armed defense-minded boxer who is not easily stopped. Hrgovic's last fight was 11 months ago. He's being ruined by inactivity. McKean is a decent enough opponent and is ranked by the IBF.
Armstrong lost a close fight to Jeamie TKV 77-75 and was scheduled to fight Fraser Clarke recently. It's a good opponent and for the Southern Area Title. Not sure if you know but Johnny Fisher had about 10-15 amateur fights at a very low level.
August 12 will turn out to be a great night. I won't say top notch fights, but a lot of decent fights, so i may very well get the PPV. Hearn unlike Warren at least have a very decent undercards on his events. Hrgovic in my eyes will KO McKean quite easily, as this guy has no chin at all.
I’m really not bothered about his history. Matchroom keep bigging fisher up but then deliver more cab drivers for him to fart around with. Fight someone like sokolowski next if matchroom and Hearn think he’s so good. Bosh!
McKean's boxing is dirty, he's left-handed, but Hrgovic will catch him at some point and knock him down for a start, maybe even knock him out right away...
Where have they bigged him up? He’s just a huge ticket seller. Armstrong is a good step up. Fisher himself admitted he’s still a novice and a long way away from the top British contenders.
Better than a kick up the arse. You can't really expect better when sitting on a locked in mando position.
Fury was looking to fight Demsey If it is good enough for the wbc champ I dont see what's wrong if a contender chases the same fight
I don't think McKean has the power to trouble Hrgovic like Zhang did. McKean's record looks thin and Hrgovic will likely stop him.
