Thanks mate . As it was Christmas I was in a pub watching it and noticed none of that. In that case wouldn't hurt for Don to have him in the corner.
Dunno mate them early rounds looked like he was on there brink a few times of calling it a day. Till his dad was put in the corner.
First off, this is a good fight. It's high time we saw contenders facing each other. Whenever I see Dubois I get the nagging suspicion that despite his many physical attributes, he doesn't really want to be a boxer, it's something he's either fallen or been pushed into. By this point there's plenty around him who need him to continue, but obviously their influence ends when the bell rings. I like him and respect the work he clearly puts in to his conditioning and the improvements he's made to his technique, but that doubt always persists. The best boxers have something very primeval in them that gets them through the hard rounds. Does Daniel have that desire?
2 good assessments. These doubts would make a Hyrgovic fight all the more interesting. Hasn't Hyrgovics desire occasionally been questioned also??
This content is protected His Excellency saving boxing - he's the real promoter and makes all the fights he wants. I think Hrgovic wins this one on points, I'd be surprised if Dubois wins. I presume that means Joshua will fight at the back-end of August / early September. I wonder if Wilder vs Zhang and Hrgovic vs Dubois will be separate to the 5 vs 5 since Wilder and Hrgovic aren't Matchroom fighters. Kind of defeats the purpose of it otherwise. Seems like it could be another long night with the 5 vs 5 followed by Wilder vs Zhang and then Bivol vs Beterbiev.
Joshua will DUCK DDD if he gets past Hrgovic No amount of Saudi slave blood will get AJ in with a live body
I was going to post exactly the same, beat me to it. No doubt there'll be some more lower-ranked fights on the card so another 4pm start?
There’s absolutely no reason for anyone who isn’t making financial gain to call him ‘His Excellency’.
You could well be right but only because he is inn a privileged position for a title shot, not cos get afraid. Hell box a fringe contender for his only fight this year. I thought that from the first time I heard it. Now they're all at it. WOW. Sweeping statement . Id say he may do it at some point but that early? Not saying he wont. IAd imagine the reverse is not as likely but it's heavyweight boxing.
The biggest question for this fight is that how many rounds will it take for Dubois to quit again. Once Hrgovic starts throwing those trademark rabbit punches, it's game over for quitter-DDD.
I know you don't like AJ but you can't really believe that - Dubois is a walk in the park for AJ. Dubois will get KO'd in the first half of the fight, if he don't quit first!
