Itauma's the guy with the momentum and is younger. Dudes like him rarely lose. On the other hand it could be a case like Lemieux / Rubio, where Lemieux emptied his gas tank tryign to get rid of Rubio and then lost. Hrgovic is pretty ****ing tough.
I think Moses is all wrong for Hrgovic and will simply be too fast, accurate and powerful and given all the meticulous studying his team does regarding fighter's tendencies he has the tools to exploit the slower easier to hit Hrgovic's ones with said speed and accuracy But if Hrgovic can make it past the halfway mark w/o getting badly beaten up or his eyes cut to shreds it will get very interesting and he is a very accurate puncher himself and despite all the talk about him lacking power when he sits down on his right hand it's a very heavy shot and if he catches Moses clean with a full power right hand or can keep hitting him consistently Moses is going to feel it and be put in a position he hasn't been in before in an actual pro fight and we still don't know how he will respond to that yet
Agree. Hrgovic also has to be careful not to switch off halfway through because Itauma will leap on that opportunity for a stoppage.
Itauma by stoppage. Hrgovic is a solid fighter who takes hits well , as we've seen against powerful fighters like Zhang and Dubois. But the Croatian tends to cut easily. Itauma's superior speed, workrate, accuracy and boxing ability at any distance will quickly give him an advantage on the judges' scorecards, and the Croatian will take damage round after round. He could nasty cut and be stopped by the doctor, or he could be stopped by his corner because he's taking punishment, or even by the referee. You can be very solid, but when you take punch after punch and remain passive the referee will rightfully stop the contest. This is my prediction for the fight.
