Tbf Zhang is pretty sneaky and deceptively quick and powerful. I don't think Hrgovic has the same kind of punch in his repertoire.
Hurgovic will be back to looking for ballshots and rabbit punches when Kabayel is banging his drum and mum.
I have genuine concerns for Hrgovic's health. Dude has taken so much punishment from Dubois, Zhang and even Adalye. A part of me doesn't even want to see him fight. That being said, if his cut heals, it should be a good fight. I am favouring Kabayel by decision.
Zhang has knocked down each of his last 10 opponents. There are a handful of guys who did not get knocked down by him, and quite a few who got stopped on their feet before going down. Zhang is dangerous.
Few believe in Hrgovic's victory in this potential fight, which is just confirmation that Hrgovic hasn't shown much in the last few fights...
Hrgovic isn't easy to stop, but he's limited enough that it's not a massively dangerous fight for Kabayel IMHO... I'm not sure Kabayel is nearly as durable, but he doesn't really need to be - he just needs to be fairly solid, which he is, because Hrgovic has very mediocre power. So realistically it goes to cards - and the fact Hrgovic gasses so early at the best of times, combined with being up against a body puncher who's going to wear you down more anyway... It's likely to be relatively plain sailing through later rounds. If Hrgovic had a 10-12 round gas tank this might be competitive... As it stands, I suspect it'd look that way early on, but degenerate into a one-sided demolition later on. And this us all assuming Hrgovic cuts don't open up again.
Or just that subconsciously most really do see it my way - that it's a durable gatekeeper Vs relatively unproven but assumed contender... And unsurprisingly everyone favours the guy who looks like he's probably legit.
Hrgovic could be competitive in the first three rounds, his stamina against Adeleye looked better than in previous fights, but against Kabayel you definitely have to move more because Kabayel knows how to box and won't just wait to land a knockout punch, we'll see...
Why would Kabayel’s team agree to any fight at this point with Kabayel sitting as WBC Interim Champion just waiting for the Usyk shot ! His Team may see it as a gimme/stay busy/easy payday but at Heavyweight anything can happen, madness !! Tbh Kabayel v Usyk is the main fight I want to see at Heavyweight as I do believe he is the fighter amongst the chasing pack with the style and smarts to possibly dethrone Usyk .
