An interesting matchup; Moorer was good, but I still think Hrgovic would have pulled off a decision win...
If Moorer tries to go for a ko and stands in front of Hrgovic, he could get stopped. If Moorer fights intelligently, like he did vs Holyfield 1, he should win a decision. He is a better boxer, faster and has a stance advantage. There is a myth that Moorer was glass chinned but that isn't true. Foreman was once in a life time puncher, even at 45, and Moorer made the mistake of standing in front of him. Tua beat a past it Moorer and Tua himself was a far better hitter than Hrgovic. That leaves Holyfield whose hand speed and combination punching ability was miles ahead of Hrgo. That being said, Hrgo is fairly powerful and can do a lot of cumulative damage. Therefore, i don't feel super confident in picking Moorer
Michael is a far more skilled boxer than Hrgovic, who doesn’t have enough power to make up for the difference in ability. Moorer by decision.
Moorer by decision he's a skillful southpaw with a good jab and he has enough tools to outbox Hrgovic IMO. Hrgovic doesn't hit as hard as old Foreman and really Hrgovic's power has not impressed me much at world level. So i don't see Hrgovic one shotting Moorer out of nowhere. I know @catchwtboxing was joking but I actually agree with him it could be a bit of a dull affair. Moorer was in exciting fights but if he wasn't pushed he'd fight in 1 gear and just go about his business. Hrgovic I don't think is really the type of fighter to force Moorer out of his shell and make him really engage. It would actually probably be a bit like the Itauma fight with two southpaws outboxing Hrgovic. Except Moorer has much more experience and would pace himself better and box his way to a relatively dull decision.

Moorer was put down by the then 7 loss streak journeyman and blown up SMW Martin. He was put down twice by former 190 pounder Bert Cooper. Former 190 pounder Holyfield put him down six times over two fights, and stopped him once. 45 year old Foreman was a good puncher sure, but not close to "once in a lifetime", he didn't drop or stop Morrison in his previous fight, and he never stopped anyone ever again post-Moorer. Tua had Moorer gone in 30 seconds. And Moorer didn't fight many big names or big punchers did he? His management knew that their blown up LHW was packing glass at HW. Also, lol at Moorer being this super boxer. Bean, Schulz and Botha all gave him very good or close fights.
