You’re right but you used a bad example. Brook vs GGG and Khan vs Canelo was an example of one of boxing’s atrocities. It should have been GGG vs Canelo and Brook vs Khan. But obviously Khan wasn’t ready to risk losing to Brook and dropping out of the Floyd/Manny sweepstakes and Canelo was aging GGG out just a tad bit longer. Khan wasn’t daring to be great, he simply took the fight because he already had a built in excuse to go along with the payday.
Eddie Hearn and his team must have known that Bakole was under contract to fight Yoka as he promotes him lol. He knew the fight was never gonna happen, hence why he's trying to strengthen the narrative that Hrgovic is avoided by everybody by pretending to everyone that this fight was gonna happen. Another low level journeyman awaits Hrgovic.
Cant place blame on Hrgovic for this eliminator fiasco since he’s holding up his end of the bargain. Blame those mainly “top HWs”, mainly Ortiz and Parker, who’s making business decisions instead of fighting for a mandatory spot for the one organization who actually enforces their mandatory.
Yoka's team knew this but accepted the fight knowing it would look like a decent reason to pull out and not receive the flak Parker and Ortiz did
This has become absurd. Hrgovic can't get anyone in the ring! Zhang called him out after his last fight so perhaps that is the way to go.
Hrgovic should call out Wilder. He knock him out and look better than the overrated Fury. Make the fight. If he turns him down too, than Zhang.
I called this. I said Yoka was only going to accept it to then pull out to clout chase by being associated with the fight. Hrgovic has been ducked and ****ed around for long enough now. Make him mandatory challenger now for the IBF and demote everyone who ducks him from the rankings. They already demoted Josephine Parker for his fake elbow injury excuse.
