Yeah Kabayel would be the best. Something new and very interesting clash of styles. Looks like with Kabayel fighting Hysa next so that isnt happening this year, Dubois is rematching Wardley, and last I heard Gassiev was in talks with Miller. Hopefully there will be some unifications next year.
In an interview yesterday with IFL TV, Frank Warren said Kabayel verbally agreed to a Hysa fight and Warren drew up paperwork, only for Kabayel to change his mind on Hysa. So Warren now says there will be a "top-10 opponent" announced next week for Kabayel to fight in Germany and that Kabayel (assuming of course he gets past this next opponent) will look to unify next year. Speaking of next year, Warren also confirmed (if begrudgingly) that Hrgovic is scheduled to fight Sanchez early next year though "if something else comes up ... then we'll talk to Sanchez" (namely, ask him to step aside for a 2nd time, which I can't see him doing). BTW, as a New Yorker I find I need subtitles to understand a couple of these IFL TV interviewers....
He should try and look for a money fight, they HW scene can change so quickly so he should settle himself up financially before anything else. He hugely relies on his chin and that's never sustainable at the highest levels.
I agree. While still in the ring afterwards he was voicing for a Kabayel fight, K. is probably going to duck him with Hysa wating on the AJ, Fury winner for WBC. Dubois is tied up. He may have to take Sanchez and win it. Not much money in that fight. Wilder is 4 with WBC somehow ... even Rico is a better option. He has an Ituauma rematch in the bank tho.
