Hrgovic wants a rematch with Zhang!

Instead of saying both was trash I say both was underrated. They both took on a hard fight.

But people prefer the Wilder resume and that is sickening.

Because Hrgovic struggled with southpaw Zhang, that means Ortiz a few years ago would have a good chance

 

The winner asking for an immediate rematch? You don't see that too often.

 

Because he knows his "victory" wasn't convincing in the slightest

True but in the grand scheme, it's inferior and thats what matters the most

Hrgovic looked horrible against Zhang and Ortiz is better than Zhang based on record and skills

 

Got to disagree with you Rockin' Robney. Fury Wilder 3 was a great fight and even Usyk Joshua 2 was closer than the first fight which was sort of close as well. Those type of fights are much better than the usual mismatch fights we normally get.

 

Agreed, loved seeing that fraud Wilder being totally outclassed and beaten up again. Had Fury taken training more seriously it would have been even more one sided. Hopefully he softened Wilder up enough to ensure a Helenius victory.

 

In my opinion, Hrgovic won. But it was a close one.

If it was Hrgovic who offered this, then it is a good gesture.

As for Zhang, if he takes the rematch, there is higher possibility that the outcome would be worse than the first one. I like Zhang and support him, but he is old and has very limited tank. I do have hope Zhang to fight against first class heavyweight such as Wilder. But now we know that Hrgovic is his ceiling, can't go higher than that.

 

Zhang won, but even if you think he didn't, it's a terrible stylistic matchup for Zhang. Hrgovic has a completely iron chin and is probably the hardest HW to put away. Zhang would KO anybody with a similar skill level to Hrgovic that doesn't have an iron chin.

 

Because he knows he lost. Zhang got shafted.

 

I had it 114-113 for Zhang, but I see no problem with 114-113 for Hrgovic. 115-112 on 2 of the scorecards was a little too wide but I don't think it was a robbery. A rematch would be nice or both fighters could fight other top contenders if they wanted to.

Hrgovic is there for the vacant IBF World Title though so I wouldn't be surprised if his promoter tells him to wait for Usyk Fury to take place and for all the belts to be vacated.

It is a strong possibility that we see Hrgovic vs Joshua for the IBF Title in 2023.

 

Hrgovic has an iron chin, Wilder, Fury, and many of the others don't. Zhang takes a hell of a shot himself, he;d probably last the whole twelve with a punchers chance, More than that versus Wilder.
