I voted for Mayweather UD.

Just a note guys, it will be really helpful if people could vote with full sincerity. Don't vote for an outcome that you'd like to see, or because you hate a fighter. Just an honest vote of what you seriously think will happen in the fight.

It would be great if we can pull this thread back up after the fight is finished, and the compare the results to what we initially thought would happen

I want Pac to win, and I can see him winning, but, if I were betting my house, I'd put it on Mayweather via close decision.

I just think Mayweather's size will be the difference.

I don't see his knocking Floyd clean out and if it does goes the full 12 then Floyd will win by close decision.

This is a useless poll. I can tell you right now that pretty much anyone picking Pacquiao is only doing so because they hope he can win(which is why they're picking Pac to stop a great defensive fighter who has never really even been down.). They hope he can land that knockout punch. This is not to say that Pacquiao isn't a great fighter because he is. However, Mayweather is a rare talent. You need to be skilled and have a lot of physical advantages to beat him. Manny has no real physical advantages over Mayweather. He's not a smarter fighter, he's not a bigger or stronger or faster fighter, he's not a more skilled fighter. We all know the story. Pacquiao would have to do something big early. If he doesn't, you're going to see the same thing you see in a lot of Mayweather fights. You're going to see Mayweather takeover, and you're going to see Pac get frustrated and desparate. This will lead to Pac losing at least 8 rounds or getting stopped.

 

I see Pacquiao overwhelming Mayweather to a wide UD.

 

I voted Pacquiao by competitive (razor thin) decision.

I see Pacquiao taking early rounds. Mayweather will adjust and take some middle rounds, and then Pacquiao adjusts and takes some late rounds. No one gets knocked out, both fighters get hurt or buzzed somewhere in the fight.

This pick is from an analysis standpoint. I think Pacquiao has the workrate and the angles to give Mayweather big problems. Mayweather will catch him with counter right hands all night while getting hit plenty himself.
