There's a considerable amount of arrogance in the first part of your post, but maybe it isn't arrogance if you actually believe it.

For the record, Floyd HAS been down (Judah) and probably beaten (Castillo).

Very few people who pick PAc expect him to land a KO punch.

This part of your post is correct. Mayweather has the edge in nearly all of the physical aspects of the game. (Stamina: very slight edge to Pac).

But Pac does have a mental edge. Floyd fears him.

(Caveat: If all of the drug-testing **** is just a ploy on both their parts to increase the anticipation and drive up the purse, then maybe no mental edge.)

If Mayweather is 'on the level' in his comments about testing, then Pac has the psychological edge of knowing that Floyd fears him. ANd Floyd has the exact same psychological handicap. He'll have to fight scared, or at least nervous.

So can his physical edge outweight this mental deficit ?

Don't know yet. I keep going back and forth.

I'll decide the week of the fight.

Pac will knock Void out, but Void will never fight him. Void has a reason for running from Pac.

    A possibility.

But I gave Floyd every credit for beating Mosley.

Pac is on a different level though, and it's a very close proposition at this point.

If Pac beats Floyd (without controversy), then he's probably a top ten, given where Pac started out.

But if Floyd beats Pac, there's little left for him to do.

He could travel up and try for MW, but his legacy would already be formidable, win or lose.

Therefore, Floyd has more at stake here. He's expected to win and has the physical edge.

They're both ATGs, even if they never meet.

But A PAc win over Floyd would do a bit more for his legacy than vice versa.

WHEN FLOYD BEATS MANNY EVERYONE WILL SAY MANNY IS TOO SMALL

JUST AS MOSLEY WAS TOO OLD,

    MARQUEZ WAS TOO SMALL,

HATTON WAS NOT IN HIS PRIME WEIGHT CLASS (LIKE IT WOULDA MADE A DIFFERENCE LOL),

    OSCAR WAS JUST PAST IT,

BALDOMIR WAS NOT WORTHY NOR SKILLED ENOUGH TO BEAT FLOYD (BUT WHO IS?)

ZAB WAS COMING OFF A LOSS, (TRUE BUT MENTION THE WHOLE STORY)

SHARMBA MITCHELL WAS "TOO EASY" FOR A FIRST FIGHT AT WW,

    GATTI WAS SHOT

CORLEY WAS GARBAGE (TITLE ELIMINATOR IS WHAT THE HATERS FAIL TO MENTION,

BRUSELES GARBAGE AS WELL (TITLE ELIMINATOR),

PHILIP NDOU WAS "NOT WORTHY" (EVEN AT 31-1 30KO,

SOSA WAS "NOT PROVEN" THOUGH HE WAS ALSO A TOP GUY AT LW AT THE TIME....

CASTILLO 2 WAS ABOUT THE ONLY FIGHT HE GETS PROPS FOR,

CASTILLO 1 HE LOST EVEN THOUGH MANY HAD HIM WINNING ALONG WITH THOSE THAT HAD HIM LOSING , ETC ETC ETC...

AGAIN..IF FLOYD BEATS MANNY PACQUIAO WHAT YOU *******S AND PACFANS NOT REALIZING IS THAT OTHER FANS (NOT PAC FANS) ARE ALREADY SAYING THAT MANNY IS TOO SMALL AND BRINGING UP OTHER NAMES..

FLOYD WILL NOT GET THE CREDIT HE IS DUE FOR BEATING PACQUIAO..SERGIO MARTINEZ IS ALREADY BEING LISTED BY MOST NON PAC FANS AS THE NEXT NAME HE HAS TO BEAT TO "PROVE HIMSELF" AS FANS ARE ALREADY SAYING MANNY IS TOO SMALL...

*******S AND PAC FANS U MAY DISAGREE...BUT THATS THE REALITY OF IT...HE WONT GET THE CREDIT AS MANNY PACQUIAO IS "TOO SMALL":deal OTHER NAMES ARE ALREADY BEING MENTIONED...

PAC FANS WILL DISSAPEAR AFTER HE GETS BEAT...JUST WORKS LIKE THAT..NOT CLOWNING...I SEEN THE SAME THING WITH THE HATTON FANS..U GUYS ARE NO DIFFERENT

Like you said, Pacquiao is smaller, that's true... but this fight will be interesting even at 147 because its a big test for Pacquiao. I wanna see if he's good enough to overcome that type of disadvantage against a welterweight the caliber of Floyd. I don't buy into Floyd's legs being done like Roach says, I still think Floyd is as good as he's ever been. He might not be as offensive as he was at 130 but he was alot more open back then and he's a better fighter today than in 2000-2001. I think Pac can overcome that size disadvantage, cause he is that much better than Floyd, but if he can't then I'll definately admit that Pac was not good enough to overcome the difference in size against a WW of Floyd's quality.

BTW, Pacquiao hasn't gotten credit for any of his wins, not even destroying Barrera where people still say Barrera had a bad training camp. If Pac beats Floyd, it'll be the same thing all over again.

If Mayweather beats Pacquiao it will prove that Floyd is the better boxer of the two, I don't want to hear any of the excuses of Pacquiao being smaller.

Not only do I think Mayweather is better than him at 147 but he was better than Pacquiao at 130, 135 and 140 too.

that's still a matter of opinion. I think at 147, Pac is outsized and I feel that he had to overcome that size disadvantage against both Cotto and Clottey. Its not really a level playing field. But I'll definately pay to see if Pacquiao can do the same with Mayweather, and if he can't I'll give Mayweather much credit.

    easy work for $

if pac is "too small" to play welterweight then he should go to 140.

Depends what you mean by size disadvantage, weight wise I don't think there will be all that much between them and Floyd's height and reach are similar to Morales.

What weight do you think they will come in on fight night?

I don't know about their fight night weights, but I believe that currently Pac would be at his best fighting at JrWW, while Floyd is at his best fighting at WW.

    Do you agree with that?
