Maybe because this is the fight ppl want to see. Who really wants to watch Vitali have his FINAL fight against Charr, Wach, Ortiz or someone else who really has no chance in hell and is far too inexperienced to be competitive against Vitali? It does nothing for his legacy, and it's hardly an exclamation point on his career. It's nothing more than an easy payday and with good luck another KO (can't even gaurantee that now given his decline) to boost his stats.

Maybe ppl are upset because Vitali let Haye slip away, just like he let Valuev slip away. If he wanted him bad enough, he should have made an offer he couldn't refuse. It seems Haye got a sweeter deal from Chisora.

I'm thinking from what I've read that Haye thought he could slip Chisora in before a Vitali fight. The WBC came out and said anyone participating in that event was persona non gratta in their organization. Also, if Haye loses, gets injured, whatever, there is no wiggle room time wise for Vitali and Haye hasn't been the most stable dance partner to date.

Vitali doesn't need Haye. He already has a complete legacy. His comeback has been one of the greatest ever at heavyweight.

Vitali doesn't need Wlad's leftovers. He has already established his legacy as one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.

Bernd Bönte is a shitmuncher. Haye has already said he'd be ready for then, two month is enough for publicity. If anything, it'd be a rollercoaster because it would be so soon, nobody hypes a fight two month out.

    Manuel Charr? WTF

I am not exactly excited about a fight vs. Haye but Charr? C'mon. This is ridiculous.

Bernd Boente: "Fight Chisora and the winner gets Vitali"

Bernd Boente: "There is no way the Haye - Vitali fight will happen. Haye has chosen Chisora instead"

Marco Huck just posted on his Facebook page:

"Marco Huck surprised by Fritz Sduneks harsh criticism:" I'd give Vitali a better fight than all this vegetable they are trying to hype right now!"
World champ trainer Sdunek was quoted analogously on a russian based boxing-portal:"Vitali Klitschko would simply devour Marco Huck". The WBO cruiserweight champ was surprised by those harsh words and is not pleased. "With all due respect to Fritz Sdunek, I am not a light snack for any Klitschko brother", said Huck. "I hope, Sdunek was translated incorrectly. When I see, what names they are dealing with at the moment, I can do nothing but laugh out loudly. There is nobody would could give Vitali a great fight, like I could. I didn't have my best day against Afolabi, but still I found a way to bite through and made it, I defended my title.
Against a Klitschko I would prepare and fight differently, of course, than against a mandatory title defense against Afolabi.
As the name says, it is a mandatory defense, the other thing is a voluntary exercise. If Mr Sdunek wants to imagine, how a fight with Vitali against me would look like, he should rewatch my fight against Povetkin. And I actually won that fight. That's the Marco Huck Vitali would have to expect. And Vitali would surely be floundering, just like Povetkin, where everybody thought, he would beat me easily, beforehand. But Vitali's rather digging through the colourful vegetable garden of the WBC and wants to dig up some cucumber or tomato. I should not be talking about a fight against Klitschko? Again, with all respect, Mr Sdunek, YOU were the one who mentioned my name. And I think that's because you probably know that I am stronger than every other challenger!"
