According to some dude at the scene, Miguel Huerta was robbed again in his fight against Javier Jauregui. I guess it was on Telefutera but I missed it. I remember Huerta getting robbed against Kid Diamond last year, but did anyone see this other fight? Was this dude robbed again?
No, he wasn't robbed. Jauregui landed the cleaner punches. But Huerta seemed the busier man, especially late in the fight. But often times, Javier would make Huerta miss and counter well. Also, the ref called a knockdown against Jauregui in the 10th where it was obvious that he was pushed on the chest. But I'm glad that glaring misjudgment didn't affect the result.:smoke:smoke
117-110 is a terrible card, especially with the knockdown, but it was a pretty close fight. I thought Jaregui landed the harder shots, and controlled most of the action. It also took Huerta at least three rounds to adjust to Jaregui's power.
Back when Heurta got screwed against Kid Diamond I was still following Kid Diamond pretty closely. I thought he might turn into something. Anyway if there is anything worse than seeing your fighter get screwed, it's seeing your fighter get a god-awful gift. What an embarrassment. Boo
i love the way huerta fights, if not for those robberies, you best believe he would've gotten a title shot by now.....
