I hate these guys, most of the time you you can't even figure it out who the man is in most divisions because these cockroaches have deliberately diluted the World Championship.

There are too many sanctioning bodies and weight classes now for it to really matter.

Boxing is run by corrupt people as it is. So whether so and so stays or goes does'nt really make a difference.

In this day and age of boxing, Titles dont mean a damn thing.

Guys, I do NOT understand your blind hatred. The IBF is what makes boxing great.

    More HUGE news here:

    May
    2010
    Official IBF Statement
    Peoples appointed new IBF President

On Tuesday, May 25, 2010, the Board of Directors of the IBF/USBA called a special meeting to address issues concerning the governance of the organization. Concerns had grown among some of the Board members regarding the President, Ms. Muhammad’s, management of the organization and whether or not certain actions and decisions were in the best interest of the organization or were fiscally sound. During the meeting, a vote was taken and, by a majority vote, Ms. Muhammad was removed from her position as President of the organization, a position she has held since October 2001. She was also removed as one of the directors.

The decision to take these actions was not an easy one, as the Board had great appreciation for Ms. Muhammad’s dedication to the organization from its inception. This was not a matter of personal differences, but a matter of concern as to the leadership and management of the IBF.

Former Ratings Chairman Daryl J. Peoples, who has been with the IBF since 1995, was appointed by the Board of Directors as President. He will serve for the remainder of Ms. Muhammad’s term. Lindsey E. Tucker has also been re-appointed to his post of Championships Chairman. Mr. Peoples’ former position of Ratings Chairman remains open, but will be filled in the near future.

The IBF/USBA now looks forward to an informative and productive annual convention in Puerto Rico next week and to continuing as one of the leading sanctioning organizations in the world with the help of its membership.

Screw Suliman. That guy is a total disgrace to boxing. The fact that four organizations exist with a claim to the true champion pisses me off. One champ per division, no exception. Sanctioning fees are silly when all you're doing is handing off a belt for recognition. And don't get me started on silver and diamond belts. It's a friggin' joke.

You seem to work for a boxing organization. No real appreciator of the sport actually supports an organization. I support boxing, not the clowns that say they're organizing the sport.

Huge news would be one recognized champion per division and the elimination of those middling weight classes. The elimination of interim champs, silver belts, diamond belts, and any other belt/trinket.

all of em are bad...I believe 2 in every division is good enough..as a fighter u could climb the ranks one of 2 ways...also keep the ring championship available:good

Yeah but those 3 are actually decent, not as courrpt as the WBA and WBC.

The Ring is the only true "Championship" though.

I respect that..I believe that the WBA and WBC should get there sh!t togetather...

with 2 sanctioning bodies and 2 champs per division..we wouldnt have all the "stripping of champs going on".also u gotta look at it from a realistic point of view..ibo will never be a MAJOR sanctioning body..just get rid of the ibf and one more ...:good

I can't believe the ignorant people here. When you're dissing the IBF, you're also dissing Vlad Klitschko, Tarvouris Cloud, Lucien Bute, Sebastian Sylvester, Cory Spinks, Jan Zaveck, Devon Alexandor, Orlando Salido, Molitor, Perez, and a bunch of skinny thai guys.

To disrespect these great fighters is just plain wrong.

No no no! What the hell are you implying here?

What you just said is exactly the argument for these stupid sanctioning groups to be the ones paying for the boxers to wear their stupid belts! Not the other way around.

   -(
