Their security in Mexico seems to be to watch till it ends. Dana said his hope for Mexico is for it to be equal to Brazil in fighters entering and ruling UFC. Mexico's love of boxing and Lucha libre should translate well to MMA. As Dana said Mexico is the only place he has ever been where he sees boxing rings in kids playgrounds.

Mexico has a great fighting culture, but it obviously doesn't have the cultural tradition and affinity towards martial arts in the way that it does for boxing. Mexico does have a good tae kwon do program, but that's pretty much it. Brazil, on the other hand, does have that mixed-martial arts culture. It takes a very long time to build that. Not saying it's impossible, but it would be a very difficult task.
