Blahblahblah Michael Spinks, Bob Foster, Celestino Caballero, Thomas Hearns, Paul Williams, Diego Corrales, Guillermo Jones at the lower weight classes.

Now that we've got the cookie cutter answers out of the way, what lesser known/mentioned fighters can you think of that were huge, weight or height wise for their divisions?

Henry Maske was 6'4 1/2 at LHW and below, which I find pretty impressive.

I'm not sure how tall Akeem Anifowoshe was, but he was a massive fighter for his weight class. Does anyone know how tall he was?

Scott Harrison was one of the biggest featherweights ive ever seen. Not so much his height which was slightly above average, just his overall build for someone who weighed 9 stone was unbelievable.

Didn't his match against McCullough look like a man against a child?

Yeah there was a huge disparity in size between the 2 of them as McCullough was a natural Bantamweight. I don't know how Scott managed to boil down to featherweight at all.

Harrison is a good shout here. Like you said, not that tall (or that good for that matter), but the man was like an armoured tank for someone of his weight class.

Just been watching a bit of Hector Thompson-Antonio Cervantes on youtube and both of them look huge for 10st blokes, and Thompson appeared even bigger at lightweight. Deployed his size and strength quite well against Duran actually, as Cervantes did against DeJesus.

Thompson and Cervantes are great calls.

Add in zapata and Jibaro Perez as two others from the lower weights.

Sibson. Greb's hand dwarfs Walker's when they shake at their contract signing.

At 6'3½" Mario Veit was a pretty big super middleweight.
And Tony Pep was a very big feather/lightweight at 6'1½"
