Wrong. The amount of times i hear this **** :-( If Hatton beats Pac, then how does a big light welter beating a natural super feather make him the top dog? Hatton should destroy JMM if they fought. He's so much bigger. The fact that people find this a hard fight to call speaks volumes.
SpeakTheHellUp NOOB!!!! No thats wrong. Sorry about this I'll be right with you in a moment. Errrm....STFU NOOOB!!!! Oh thats much better. Been a long day.
This thread is 100% correct. How can Hatton claim #1 p4p if he beats these fellows when they're naturally so much smaller than he is?Now if Ricky were to beat someone like Sugar Shane maybe he could make the argument.Nah.Hatton has nightmares about fighting elites at 147,even though Shane was a lightweight for more than half his career. Is there anyone out there who believes that Hatton could beat Shane,or, if he would want to fight him?No.
That is BS. Many people had BHOP P4P no.1 when he beat smaller guys like Trinidad and Oscar. Hypocrisy.
Spot on. This topic and Hatton's nonsense is LOL worthy. So he thinks if he were to beat the smaller Pacman and then the much much smaller JM Marquez he would be the best boxer on the planet when he wouldn't be able to beat someone like Joshua Clottey (probably 5th best at 147) who is just 7 pounds north of Hatton's division. The bottom line is that Pacman is a 135 pound fighter and JM Marquez is really a 130 pound fighter fighting at lightweight. Would Clinton Woods or John Ruiz become P4P king if they beat Roy Jones years ago ? Of course not. The 140 division is not very good at the moment. If Hatton wants to become P4P king he would need to beat Pacman at 140 then beat someone like Cotto or Mosely etc at 147.
He didn't become P4P for beating those smaller fighters. It was because Roy Jones was defeated by Tarver and Hopkins was the next cab off the rank with the best overall resume/skillset/overall career achievements etc etc. By Ricky Hatton's logic Antonio tarver should have been P4P king at that time.atsch
But isn't it ironic that many people will agree with you on this but when someone says Hatton is the naturally stronger and bigger guy in this fight sooo many people on this site jump in with the 'tale of the tape' and proclaim that the size and strength will be virtually the same... can't have it both ways
Nice one,Francis75:good...but I'm tellin you, you're on to a loosing battle trying to convince the most KoolAi drinking-so much so that it Drenches fans in the History of Boxing:roll:
