I've doubted the man in the past and gave him his dues after Porter and became a fan. His work since Porter has been lack luster and I've recently criticized his resume.

Respect to this man for stepping up to Golovkin (presumably at 160?) when few would. Win, lose, or draw, he deserves credit.

Golovkin on the other hand... and I'm a fan of his too. Not hating, just disappointed. Here's hoping we're just underestimating Brook and he can at least make it competitive. Or maybe he can prove me wrong again?

Agreed Brook fighting Golovkin is crazy

fighters like Garcia think fighting lucas in the same division is dangerous and porter and thurman thought what they did was dangerous fighting each other brook made look like nothing

He is fighting the monster Gennady Golovkin at 160

It's not ggg's fault no one in his division wants to box him

You can't discredit Garcia vs Matthysse or Thurman vs Porter. What's wrong with you?

Ironic thing is that they are both avoided fighters in their own weight divisions.

People slating this fight but I think Brook will be GGG's best opponent by far.

Brook has a decent chin, can box and has great timing. He walks around a similar weight to GGG, is it 1-1.5 inch height and reach adv. for GGG?

Obviously Golovkin brings the power but that's why this will be a decent fight. Does Kell have the game plan and the boxing brain to outfox GGG?

    Cant wait to find out.

I think ggg will just walk kell down completely with that great footwork and annihilate him

I think that's what your hoping, alot of people want GGG to put on a show and overlooking the fact that brook carries he's own threat.

The last thing GGG must do is go 'Gung-ho'

I'm not totally overlooking a brook win, admittedly more or less overlooking it, but he does have he's own assets and threats yes, but nothing in my opinion he can use to a victory vs ggg, even if he lands decent shots I don't think it will have ggg in serious trouble.

How fighters must feel when they see GGG KO of Geale.
Geale literally landed as flush as he could and still got dropped straight after.

It does make you think if someone had power if GGG would crumble which is the main reason why i'm not overlooking brook. Among Golovkins legendary boxing prowess, one weakness that he has is he get's hit very easily. can't wait for this fight personally.

Yes he deserves respect. I called his resume weak and had been waiting him to step up now for some time since he beat Porter. He has done so so hats off to him.

This is not a step up for brook this is a crazy leap i mean you have fighters like garcia saying they took dangerous steps when they fought Lucas in his OWN weight class and porter and brook both saying they took risks fighting each other

Brook has out done them he is fighting Gennady Golovkin at 160 who is much bigger and stronger and hits not hard for a welterweight but a middleweight.

    Brook has out done them
