Disgraceful but that's the reality, you're naive to assume any other country is different.

Its happened in the eastern block ever since drugs to enhance performane became available a long long time ago and has never stopped. They dont feel the need for fair play. Just like the chinese.

Cunningham had something to say about Western doping today as well.

Quit pretending like its localized to one area

Apparently they didn't yet have the tools/science to detect it.

    Ooh, that's interesting.

I wonder if theyll start doing some of the retesting on certain high profile boxers in the future (if they still have the blood samples from the fight).

Doping exists everywhere but lets keep it 100, its much more rife in certain territories than in others. I suspect you need to do a bit more research into the culture of Soviet doping and brush up on your cold war history before you pass any further comment on this subject

Oh my god Olympic calibre athletes on da juice..who would have thunk it?

This article if PRO Brit and anti EE. A bit of a reflection of this board and OP. No mention of the athletes from other countries in line to get medals if they take them away.

One main reason you don't hear about athletes from the UK testing positive is because it is swept under the rug when it's one of there own high profile people.

There is no bias in the article, you must have some kind of problem with cold hard facts.

An astonishing 28 Russian athletes are facing disciplinary action for the illegal use of performance enhancing drugs while not a single British athlete is under suspicion. The UK should be applauded and held in the highest regard as a beacon of clean and fair competition.

Britain definitely needs to be applauded. 28 is a very high number.

I believe they all use. I don't think that they have any choice in the matter either. They all use and are frauds and can't be trusted.
