Clearly this fight should have been the next step..
Too bad Floyd decided to (Boxing's version of) "**** Block"

Now this fight will be pushed until early to mid '10, If ever.
(Possibly a year from now, until the next May Card)

That means JMM a year older..
    Pac a year older ect...
    (& who know's what inbetween? L's, W's ect..)

Common sense seems to indicate that JMM won't be as effective above 135 and that Manny will have all the advantages in this fight.
If Marquez surprises us all and beats Floyd however, common sense goes out the window and it's back to being a 50/50 fight regardless of the weight.
I just hope it happens - I could watch these guys fight each other every week.

Im not sure about 3 rds but Id pick him to beat him, possibly by KO.... in saying that, I picked Pac last time vs JMM so you just never know.

I tell you what... most people didn't know this but pac was weight drained during the JMM rematch. It's all over the news in the philippines ... pac was working his butts of until the last day before the weigh in. You can clearly see it in his face during the weigh in, he looked like skeletor.

He was suppose to move uo to 135 but because JMM's belt was @ 130 he was force to fight him there.

Marquez will always have a shot, but he seems to have lost a step at 135.

While Pac looks rejuvenated at these higher weights.

Yea I agree, maybe JMM will last a little more then 3, but either way he will lose big. At 140 Pac is just too big, JMM is a natural 130 lb fighter.

Also, juan diaz was beating Marquez on the cards till he was KO'd, JUAN DIAZ! No furthur input necessary.

Pac should focus on Floyd, Shane, and Cotto, Marquez is a step down at this point.

I actually think Pac's OLD style is more suited to beating Marquez

He ain't gonna outbox JMM, his equaliser is his ferocity

Pacquaio defo look's like a different guy & healthier at the 140lbs weight class. No doubt about it.

Diaz hit Marquez a lot because he throws a crapload of punches with good technique/handspeed, and also because he was willing to take punches to give some back. Manny doesn't fight like that, and using the logic because Diaz hit him a lot, he'll get knocked out guaranteed next time against Pac is horrible. Manny was supposedly to stop him the last time with all his improvements and without his bloody sock, and once again, the fight could have gone either way.

Personally I think Manny would win a third fight with Marquez, but I think it would be very close, just like the other two.
