Serra vs Hughes will be made no matter the outcome of the next fight.

You mean for the title even if GSP beats Hughes or just after GSP beats them both?

Im saying its a profitable fight for Dana. They have a Reality-TV rivalry so people know them well. They know they hate each other and they are both at least top10 fighters in the world.

Obviously its not gona happen right away if Hughes loses next fight. I don't know the scenario in which Hughes and Serra meet but it will happen.

Yeah, I agree. If it makes money, it will happen. That's one nice thing about the UFC.

The only problem I see is if GSP beats Hughes and then Serra beats GSP again. Then Hughes would almost certainly have to win another fight agasint a contender to get a shot at Serra, espacially in that stacked division.

It should just be GSP beats Hughes, then Serra in Canada, then after THAT (which should be next summer I guess) Serra and Hughes would fight. I wonder if they'll make them do another round of TUF to re-hype it to the level it's at now?
