Yeah like another poster said, I think it may be linked to the diet/blood problems. Certaintly don't think he's a PED user.

    Of course it's bloody not!

Backne at 40 like Marquez and a super high Body Fat vs Lean visible muscle ratio like Marquez or a 6'6 giant covered in Bubonic plague and barely any muscle definition ... come on!

Compare Anthony Joshua's physique to Hughie at identical height who would you think more likely to be be on PEDs?!

Dihydrotestosterone interacting with the sebaceous glands. Could be high levels of DHT or just sensitivity to it.

Agreed. 100% not PED's. You can tell from his physique.

Hughie's acne is pretty bad, to the extent that it is hard to look at in HD (poor guy)

There are pretty good treatments for it nowadays, it will go in time, but you need to do the right things (diet, water etc)

He's got well known allergies. Has to eat specific diets etc. Messing his development up a little.

He had really bad acne from the start of his career. I remember watching his early fights and feeling kinda bad for him. Its only surprising when people like Marquez suddenly develop acne out of nowhere. This kid had it from the start.

I have a friend with the exact same amount of acne as hughie it was a consequence of him suffering meningitus and its never cleared up even tho it was ten yr ago. Not saying hughies gone thru the same. Im just saying there is innocent explanations for extreme acne

I had really bad acne in my early twenties - tried all kinds of creams and prescription medications (3 courses of antibiotics). Nothing shifted it. Eventually it cleared up of its own accord in my mid/late twenties. Some people just have innately unbalanced hormones and/or are slow developers - the effects of ****rty take a few more years than usual to settle down and find an equilibrium.
