Hughie Fury will be back in the ring on 15 July in Blackpool, UK. It will be televised by BoxNation. The name of his opponent is about to be announced soon. Didn't he pull out in late April from a world title fight cause of an injury? Instead of rescheduling his fight with Parker for another date he is about to face another bum... Amazing performance by team Fury again.

I guess it's a warm-up as I heard the Parker fight has been rescheduled for September

Likely just a tune up considering his hiatus from the sport, smart idea. Hughie wants to sharpen up so he looks good whilst relieving Parker of his hardware.

Why is Hughie having a warm up fight? He was supposed to be ready earlier this year.

On another note, Team Fury keeps demanding the WBO that Hughie is the mandatory and that Joe has to wait, while he gets to fight again.

He should work on his courage.

Courage? It wasn't a lack of stones which caused the fake injury pull-out, Fury simply realised he could fk the part timers in charge of Parker around all he wanted and then get the fight rescheduled over here where he will bank more cash. Enjoy Parker being a titbits while you still can, Hughie will toy with that boy.

I doubt it he will face Parker soon. Idk if it's up to Hughie or his team but those pull outs are bad for his career. He is just waiting for a good payday... He will get partly exposed after a couple of days when Povetkin will show you how to whooop Rudenkos ass. A fighter that made Hughie struggle at some points of their fight.

Well Parker will get paid more. Featherfisted Hughie vs Iron Chin Parker will be just that. Win win for Parker.

Toy with that boy? you think it will be easy lol, thats why Hughie needs a warm up fight right lol.

    Too easy :)

A tune up is exactly what he needs. Good preparation for Parker in september. What's the problem?

The only word was reports that "they are expected to announce" that the fight had been made for the UK in September.

Hughie announcing a July date (even against a heavy bag on three weeks' notice) makes me wonder if things fell apart on Fury Jr. and Parker. Odd to say the least -- what if he breaks a hand or gets cut?

Relatively easy, still wise to have a tune up since he has been out for so long. I will be betting Fury because I see him as a more well rounded boxer and while your point about his lack of power rings somewhat true, Parker isn't exactly Foreman himself. Joe's only real edge is his pro experience and he has yet to impress against anybody really. That said I have quite a patchy record for boxing wagers this year so what the F do I know?

I don't think it would be easy for either of them. Saintpat has raised a good point in that Hughies fight will be 3 weeks out from September and the risks involved for Hughie such as injury. He'd have to fight a debutant and still that doesn't guarantee that he might actually get injured this time.

I think that it's a real 50-50 fight, hughie will box off the back foot trying to nick rounds and I just can't see Parker ko'ing hughie.
