fight not happening Thompson has a better offer to fight someone else. Wilder or Mitchell would be my bet.

this fight at this stage would be madness.

Id only believe this if I heard his dad say it.He usually talks sense.Even if he has a chance at this stage what would be the point of taking the risk?By the time the lads ready in a couple of years Thompson will be more interested in breaking hips than jaws.

His Dad is the one calling out Thompson. Has told Tony to phone Hennessy Sports in order to negotiate an offer.

    Absolutely laughable.

hahahaha this would be one of the biggest mismatches ever.

Hughie has potential but that's it. It's a big step up from beating bums to stepping up to the best American heavyweight in the world.

Hughie is a future world champion, but he is not ready to fight Thompson at this time. Thompson would knock Wilder out, he would beat Jennings, Mitchell and any other American heavyweight. Thompson is, by far, the best American heavyweight. Wilder refused to fight him. Who has Wilder ever fought? Vlad toyed with Wilder in sparring for the Wach fight. Wilder fights winos from the alley.............

Because the fight doesn't boost him and wouldn't be for the amount he's looking for IMO.

You must be very easily parted from your money if you'd pick a raw windmill with a record more padded than your sisters bra like Wilder to beat Thompson, what the **** has Wilder ever done to show he could beat Thompson, at least the likes of Price and Mitchell have only been exposed because they stepped themselves up and put themselves in the position to have done so, Wilder is fighting the corpse of Liakovich in his 29th fight, and thats his biggest step up so far!

Wilder should have about 5 KO losses so far at least, but he has yet to fight anybody with a pulse (probably because he's already been put on his arse by fat nobodies already)

If Wilder was European the yanks would absolutely SLAUGHTER him for his atrocious record, rate Wilder above Thompson  I just can't wait until they stick Wilder in with a live body so we can see this idiot put to bed once and for all

They don't have that kind of money, Thompson wants to cash out with a BIG fight

I can't believe people are still underrating Thompson. He's a quality boxer who recovers well, has great boxing intellect, decent power and has the ability to change his game plan in an instant if things aren't working. Other than a defeat early on, his only losses have been to Wlad.

He'd destroy Hughie. I'd actually give him the edge against Tyson too to be honest.

lol at people biting. Peter was just gaining Hughie some publicity while telling Thompson that he is not in Tyson's thoughts. Two birds with one stone.
