Hughie Fury Continues His Quest To Be The Youngest Ever HW Champ...

    Tyson's cousin Hughie Fury (9-0, 6 KO’s) will be fighting tonight against Dorian Darch (7-1, 1 KO’s) in a scheduled 6 round at York Hall, London.

    This will be Hughie's 10th fight since turning pro in March and another step in his quest to be the youngest ever Heavyweight Champion of The World.

    I wish him well...

    At least he's keeping very active but, for his next "big" fight, he really should step up the competition.

    Tom Dallas would be a good choice for Hughie's next opponent.

    Nice to see a boxer this active, this will be his 10th fight since march. Is he any good or does he just have the Fury surname?

    How can you compare a fighter having his 10th fight, trying to gain experience at every turn, to some hype job having his 30th fight and still fighting nobodies...

    What sort of standard are you expecting to see in an opponent of an 18 year old 6 months into his pro career?

    Exactly.

    People in hindsight say Price was rushed, the level of competition he was fighting before going in with Thompson was few & far between.

    Price is however, 29 years old with heaps of amateur experience behind him. Fury is an 18 year old that's not even been a pro a year.

    No rush whatsoever.

    No rush for a 19 year old who wants to become the youngest heavyweight champion ever?!? :blood
    You guys do realize that if he wants to manage that he only has 17 months to go, wich isn't a lot of time to get a contender spot and land a world title fight.

    Even if he's as good as some of his fans hope he is he's never going to make it, unless some Brit holds one of the belts at the time and gives him a shot.

    @Furey I don't think Price was rushed it was that he never got tested early. Like he said himself he should have had the opponents that Pulev did so he was ready for the step up in his career.

    Hughie very young and he is doing great getting the experience. Young boy and i think he will improve dramatically over next 12-18 months. Absolutely no rush though.
