Didn't prove that at all mate.

Styles make fights, Parker would love a guy like Pulev who stands center ring, has very little power and handspeed, Parker would tag him all night long.

Parker also beat fluff fair and square.

To be fair poolev is 40 years old, has had a "good but not great" career and very inactive.

His effort against Wlad was pretty pathetic in all honesty.

It was a crossroads fight in there, also pulev was very clearly juicing (which he won't be able to vs joshua) so I fully expect him to capitulate again pretty easily there.

Fury has a good defence and good feet going back. However he looks poor and crude going forward I'l hold my hands up

Tried landing that same big old right hand you could see coming from a mile away. Farted around in the corner too much waiting for pulev to commit so he could drop him the same way he did sexton.

I thought he looked really slow and tiresome for a lot of the fight. Didn’t use the jab enough. He was running rings around pulev in the 1st round and I thought it would be like that for most of the fight.

He needs to work on his fitness, not sure if Peter was giving him the right instructions and he just wasn’t listening but something wasn’t right there, he went for it the round after the cut and also the last round but was poor the rest of the fight

Also noticed looking back at Hughies pre fight interviews the big scar that pulev popped open again last night is clearly visible, not sure whether that hampered his preparation for this fight?

    I dunno tbh mate.

Hughie was absoloutley terrible in there, pulev hardly had to reinvent the wheel to get that win.

    My british heavyweight ratings

    Joshua
Tyson Fury (don't know where to put him as don't really know where he's at)
    Whyte
    Joyce
    Gorman
    Hughie?
    Dubois?

    Not sure about Hughie/Dubois.

But Dubois UD Johnson is actually as good a win as any hughie has but let's be generous.

Point is Hughie is back to domestic level and I wouldn't fancy his chances too well there, there are better fighters than sexton there now.

Yeah not like in the 90s when we had George Foreman from the 70s winning titles and Mike Tysons best win being old ass holmes

OR the klitschko era when Rahman, Briggs, Leapai and pinata were all viable contenders

I think Pulev has gone back the guy that beat Chisora would have stopped that wild ,telegraphing albatross.

Pulev was a real disappointment, considering he was fighting in front of his home crowd, he lacked that spark. Indeed he has not been the same since the Klitschko defeat.

Fury is young and could comeback strong. He is not going to embarrass himself against anyone but the very best, and his name sells tickets. If motivated he could still live up to his potential. And even if he just goes though the motions, he is young enough that a decade down the line he will still be thrown in against the next big prospect.

Hughie Fury needs to fight at a higher level than Sexton, before going back to the level of Pulev.
