Parker won 11 out of 12 rounds against Fury and dominated the fight. Throwing a so-called jab that missed 99% of the time all night, running constantly, clinching, refusing to engage, spoiling, being outland by Parker in every round but one, doesn't constitute a victory. World level ...right...., that's why he's fighting a British level guy now who's more feather fisted than he is. I like Hughie Fury, he's still young and has a challenging elusive style. But he is shades of Malik Scott, at the same level, and will fill in his shoes as the next fringe contender runner/spoiler to keep the contenders honest.
There actually exist people that think Bradley beat Pac, Williams beat Lara, Garcia beat Herrera and Alvarez beat Golovkin. With that in mind, it's not that far fedged, right?!
AJ is one of them. Maybe he was backing the fellow brit or just wanted to put a dent in his own future record.
In the UK, back in the 70's, referees used to disqualify boxers who weren't doing in the ring what they got paid to do.
You will find that all of the people that think he won happen to be cross eyed Brits, who watch boxing through a nationalistic lens.
