Man, i ain't looking for an echo chamber. Parker threw and landed much more punches against Joyce because Joyce pressured him from the start, and Joe is easy to hit. He also does not possess the one punch goodnight power that the other two do, so Parker fought a different fight, because styles make fights. Throwing and landing more punches does not mean he was better. Look at the majority of Chisora fights. He throws lots of punches, hitting arms, elbows, anywhere he can. Parker looked much calmer in the pocket against Wilder and Zhang and the punches he threw looked much more efficient, much sharper, more meaningful. He expended less energy and fought his fight, not simply reacting to a rolling juggernaut like Joyce was that night...I've had money on Joyce twice to win, not a lot just a fun bet, but it was Dubois and Parker, couldn't see how they could beat him, and I'm a Dubois fan!

You don't think Parker has improved, I do. We agree on one thing, he wasn't, and isn't all that. But, for me, he is better than he has ever previously been. Dubois would have battered him, Usyk would make him look silly, but that doesn't negate my point that he's a better fighter than the one who lost to Ruiz, in my opinion, Fury, in my opinion, Del and Dillian, and Parker. Jeez, think how he looked against the blown up cruiserweight he fought in his 'comeback'. I've been banging the same drum as yourself for many months now, beating Zhang and Wilder don't make him the second coming, but, and here we go again, he has improved vastly under Andy Lee. I've said this often, you disagree, and man, I don't wanna make it an echo chamber so can we agree to disagree?

If he hadn't been on point, Zhang would have flattened him. Hype job or not, they guy has big power, brilliant timing and is dangerous in spurts. Wilder? Parker battered Wilder for me. He didn't just stay away, he dominated the guy. Wilder didn't throw a punch? So what, Joe best what was in front of him in a much more authoritative way than his usual pick pocketing style. Credit where it's due.

Yeah, don't get it myself. He also lost comfortably to Pulev and Povetkin. Parker's only problem with Hughie was his inability to cut off the ring, which allowed Hughie to run a marathon in that fight. Parker landed about 6 punches out of the 60 he threw each round, Hughie landed about half a jab out of the 20 he threw each round. It got to the point where Parker was just swatting Hughie's jab away like a fly, Hughie's jab was that bad. Oh, he did land a good uppercut in round 4, but that was it.

Now he'sfighting some random small hall journeman in his 33rd pro fight. Where is his career going?

Hughie Fury vs. Otto Wallin would be a good fight for insomniacs...
