There is no definition or bulk, he has thin arms, his back not bulky, concave chested. Its really weird to see nowadays a boxer built like him. Check out this video, he doesn't look like a heavyweight at all well compared to everyone else. 6'6 in height who fought in the low 230lbs but in his last two fights 221 and 218lbs. He's going to struggle, I feel for him, his power and strength won't be there for povetkin. Most fighters his height are well built and the 235-250 range. I honestly just checked Hrgovics weight and he's lighter than I thought, he looks alot bigger than Hughie, denser and thicker. Dubious is 21 and built like a tank but Still a decent weight.

Look at him shirtless. I mean it's not bad to be built like this but at hw you need power.

I fully agree and noticed this a long time back but then I realised he would never make cruiser even with his slender frame so he is stuck in limbo land or he bulks up with strength and conditioning.

Every HW pro must be doing strength and conditioning and I dont believe team Hughie are doing it or enough of it... they are
Probably thinking more cardio .. keep weight down and use more speed

I'd say there too old school in there conditioning training. Right now especially you need Punching power you're fighting giants, but hw boxing has always been about punching power. It's not like fury reels off 10 punch combos. He just jabs and occasionally misses his big overhand right, he doesn't even throw a straight right, it's disappointing.

Yes he is disappointing, I dont see this changing anytime soon I think it is the Joseph Parker effect of the team set in their way and slow to embrace change.

The Povetkin fight should show us a lot... but Hughie has a terrible Physique and is doing nothing about it right now.

At least pricey had a punchers chance against povetkin. Povetkin won't gas if he isn't hurt at a bit, will just keep weaving in crashing in left hooks.

Well I hope that Povetkin turns up... because at his age body can fall apart suddenly like David Haye and we get a shadow of his former self.

I really hope Pov still has it

After a feeling out round or 2, I think Pov will try and walk through him.

    Hughie has extreme allergies.

So he is clearly lacking in nutrition(veganism is BS and plant based diets don't work).

He needs high quality meat and animal fat, but likely isn't getting any. So he has nothing to build his muscles with.
I am surprised he can even go 12 rounds with his health issues. Dude is definitely not at his best.

6-8 months from now Hughie has a big announcement to make: he stumbled on the enlightening gender equality thread in the lounge, chopped his crank off and will be referred to as Helen.

Shades of Ali. Might have a very fast metabolism. Boxers arent weightlifters, and theres a point of diminishing returns where your just wasting your time lifting when your energies could be put into working your skillz or cardio. Just because your squat bench or deadlift goes up,it may not be justified in pouring all that time and energy into increasing that as im not sure if theres any carryover to punching power.

Dont get too hung up on looks, its probably a strategy of his to play to his strengths which is reach and movement. Being light and fast.
