Hughie Fury - Povetkin

... Peter Fury has mentioned after the Sam Peter fight that he wants the Povetkin fight for FUry....

 

Vintage Team Fury. Ill be surprised if this one goes through... Even a 40 year old Poverkin destroys Hughie with ease.

 

Another? He's fought 2 and he's 1-1

 

Something like that but I think it’s more a battle for them to stay remotely relevant and like you say povetkin was due to fight Allen.

 

Could be a good fight. I don't see Povetkin getting KO'd by Hughie but I see Hughie testing Povetkins cardio if the fight goes into the deep rounds.

 

You don't need your genius goggles on to see he must be referring to the first "1" you have there.

 

Povetkin smash. TKO/KO/RTD, could come any time.

 

Hughie is horrible, but Povetkin is as old as it gets ... in boxing. So, it's a 50 50 fight for me.

 

Povetkin`s counter punching was better against AJ than Fury`s was v Parker.

 

Povetkin of a few years ago would have no problems.

But I think he’s pretty shot at this point. Might favor Hughie now — I’ll have to think about it.

a shot or past it Povetkin is still a FAR better fighter than Hughie. He destroys this kid easily. In fact I'll be surprised if this one goes down. Team Fury have a bad habit of announcing fights like this and pulling out during negotiations.

 

It's probably time for Povetkin to hang them up. He's one of my favourites, I love a hooker (oo-er!).
Still, I think he smashes Hughie to bits and would happily watch it. I think anyone who endured the Hughie Vs Pulev 'fight' deserves to see this kid get clocked!

 

Hughie could possibly sneak a decision here. Povetkin's best days are well behind him now I feel.
