Hughie Fury calls out Tony Thompson and Team Fury apparently have tabled an offer to bring Thompson to Manchester for the undercard of Haye v Fury on 28/09.

Its seems that that Tysons disease of delusional behaviour runs in the family.

TBH I think Hughie looks like he has potential, much more than his older cousin but this fight is surely too soon for Hughie, its more a fight for Tyson at this stage of their careers.

Wouldnt be surprised if Tyson uses TT as a quick way back early 2014 after he gets KTFO by Haye.

TT is not going to take a fight with a 18 year old with 7 fights. WHy would he step that far down??

  3. Tony Thompson fights against Pulev and not a 18 year old, glass jawed hype who couldn't knock out Mrazek, a bum who got knocked out by Huck, Perez, Pianeta, Airich, Pala and Alekseev (it was even his debut fight).

TT vs. Pulev probably happens this year.

T early for Hughie. Thompson is fighting Pulev anyway.

Come on it's pretty obvious this isn't a serious offer and it's just a merketing ploy to get Hughie Fury's name in the boxing media and build interest in him in the future. Thompson is set to fight Pulev in an IBF title eliminator so is not available and any offer made would be for peanuts because Hugie Fury has only fought on the bottom of under cards so has no drawing power whatsoever to garner a big purse for Thompson. Don't be so gullible.

Huggie trying to skip 5 classes for the big bucks.
Has nothing to lose, and everything to gain. Opposite for TT.

I agree. There's no way Hugh Fury's team had any intentions of actually facing Thompson, just a way to get his name in the media a bit.

Peter Fury is bluffing, he knows Tony Thompson has already agreed to fight Pulev on Aug 24 (they're just waiting for the IBF's approval).

DaVarrell Williamson offered to fight Hughie, but Peter said "no".

Peter is calling people out with no intention of fighting them, just for PR. He knows fighting the crafty and durable Thompson at this time would be a bad move for young Hughie.

obviously it won't happen and it's just to get his name out, but it would be funny if Thompson said yes lol

Yeah as people said and the original report on fightnews said - publicity stunt. Watch who he actually ends up fighting - a novice bum with a losing record most likely. See if he was really serious about fighting someone of TT's calibre...he could get a fight with someone else who's on a different league to him..some fighter would take it for the money and exposure on a big undercard. But wait n see what can he ends up fighting...proof is always in the pudding. Hughie Fury is a big pudding himself. Sure he's got a good start but he's light yrs away from being anything like beating Mike Tysons record of youngest ever world champ. Talk sells if people are dumb enough to be taken in by it...its all BS hype. The Fury's know all about this...so watch n see Hughie start with the trash talking soon enough after he gets a few more wins under his belt..against cans.
