    Beautiful mindgames

If HF beats Parker, looks like his first defense will be Haye! This is designed to royally screw Bellew, Whyte, Joshua, and Matchroom's power in one fell swoop. Opens up the division and stops shite like Whyte-Grant from being arranged, and Eddie trying to dictate who fights who

All hinges on him beating Parker obv....

it doesn't at all effect matchroom. It's not like matchroom were looking to match a fighter with hughie fury and haye stole it, matchroom weren't interested in the hughie fury fight. If parker wins, then he will fight AJ, Bellew or Whyte. Haye is just one of a few options for Bellew as there is Ward or Parker or maybe wilder or whyte and whyte wants to fight parker or wilder, no one cares about hughie fury.

If both Wilder-Ortiz and HF-Haye get made, it dramatically reduces Matchroom's negotiating monopoly. All these huge fights, and ****-all to do with Matchroom.

Bellew and Whyte get frozen out, AJ will have less wiggle room too.

It also means we get interesting fights, and not the shite EH wants to put on

Bellew can **** around with whoever; I only care about the Heavies

seeing as Hughie Fury has shown no evidence that he can beat someone like Joseph Parker, i dont think its shafted them too much

Fury won't beat Parker, so it's academic really.

If you're both wrong, do I get to have a go on your wife? You can pay Eddie to clean her up afterwards

Based on Parker's last two fights, it seems fairly obvious that Hughie could very possibly beat him.
I'd probably make Parker a slight favourite for this fight but it shoudn't be a huge surprise to anyone if Hughie pulls this off.

Bellew/Ward isn't going to happen, period. Ward said it could but only if a title is on the line which means Bellew will have to beat Briedis first. Briedis is booked for the next year straight and even if he wasn't he would knock Bellew TFO anyway. Coldwell has also said the Wilder fight won't happen simply because he's too big a unit, Bellew's only realistic big fights are Haye for the $$$ or Parker for a title, if Hughie wins (which is definitely possible IMO) then both of those fights go down the drain and Bellew is left with **** all options but Dillian Whyte in some kind of B tier grudge match. I genuinely think this news will have Hearn reeling.

My only query is how Haye can get the voluntary shot. He used to be Parker's mandatory last year (WBO archived rankings ~ Dec 2016) but has completely fallen out of the top 15 after the Bellew loss. I assume he'll need to have a low risk tune up first against somebody in the lower reaches of the top 15? Somebody like Kabayel, Wallin or Mansour.

at the end of the day AJ beats Wilder, Parker, Ortiz, Haye and Hughie Fury so matchroom are still on top becuase these bums will eventually have to face AJ and they will get Ko'd. the only threat to Aj is Tyson Fury

    Precisely.

They may get some stick from fighting an out-of-shape Haye, but - like you say - they can try and get him to knock someone into oblivion in the meantime. It would sell like hotcakes.

lol the WBO (Warren boxing organisation) is all fraud anyway, haye will get a top 10 ranking without fighting no doubt, and if parker wins then Hughie loses his undefeated record and is left with nothing, haye wil have no options but to face bellew and bellew can **** haye off and fight parker instead so it all depends on the results. The Furys/haye or the matchroom team are gonna be screwed depending on which way the fight goes.

i'm not wrong though am i? what has he done to show he will beat Parker? winning half a fight against Fred Kassi? but why would that mean you get "a go" on my wife? and why would she need cleaning? and why would Eddie pay for it?

You've got more faith in him than EH! He won't even mention Ortiz in relation to AJ! Maybe EH can keep them all in the background until they get comfortably beat by Tyson and turn 41...

Would Fury really make better sense than a rematch with Bellew?
I imagine Bellew brings more money to the table.
