Those fighters would get an easy points decision chasing the skirt around the ring for 12 rounds - he would not engage. Never seen anything from The Skirt to date which leads me to think he is capable of winning a European title and he certainly looked over his shoulder at British level and vacated when he seen live challengers ahead.
If his opponent gets seriously hurt, questions would be asked as to why such a mismatch was made. Obviously this won't happen as 'shades of Ali' has got about as much power as your average arthritis riddled OAP.
Not much worse an oppenent than Joyce fighting Ustinov, however big difference is Joyce will be out again within 2 months. Hughie will go back thinking he's world class and not fight for 6months. Inactivity is seeing Hughies career go to waste. Should sign with Hearn and get out 4/5 times in the next year.
Of course it'll improve. Yes it's a crap fight but as people have mentioned, it's a comeback fight after getting injured in a fight where he was the only one who had the guts to accept. He's fought Parker and Pulev away in his last 3 fights so yes, of course his opponents will get better after this.
He can sell on the back of his surname if managed correctly. He’s also actually quite good. Shame him and Tyson fell out because them two on the same cards would be great exposure for Hughie and a great selling point. Then if he was with Hearn he would have some easy pickings in Allen, Price etc. Not too sure he beats Chisora at the minute.
HF wont get any better and will soon be overtaken by Joyce,Dubois, and Gorman. He is a boring runner who lacks power and runs out of ideas very quickly, as the Pulev fight showed, I would not pay a shilling to watch him stink out an arena.
I don’t think there’s any shame in losing to Pulev, he’s quality but just shy of that world class level.
Pulev is an old man,38 , on the way down.Fury went to pieces as soon as he was cut. He is Euro level at best ,a false alarm who rode on Tyson's back, now he is floundering.
Exactly it’s almost as if, they don’t trust him to beat the contenders around him in Britain. But after his putrid, uncoordinated and uninspiring bordering on dull performances against Parker and Pulev who can blame them?
