Saw this on Twitter and not a solid source. Who should Hughie fight next? Wish he would spark Billy Wright just to end that career, but that's a match to make me happy and not worth any risk for Fury.

Seems a decent fight to me. Will be Fury's best opponent yet (no rush for him to step up though, he's only 21 and this is Tyson Fury's time), and Cornish best fight other than Joshua.

No it wouldn't. Cornish is ****. A step down from Rudenko and probably even Arias. I wouldn't call the fight horrible for him at this stage, but no it wouldn't be his best opponent thus far.

Yes it would. Let's bare in mind you said Brook was a step down from Malignaggi & Alexander for Porter. :hi:

Nice Ad Hominem. Cornish is clearly a step down from Rudenko, Brit****.

    Cornish is ****.

I thought after the Rudenko fight he'd start fighting decent opponents but nope. This is pointless. AJ destroyed Cornish; Fury isn't going to do that because of hi feather fists so he's just going to look like a chump if he goes the distance.

Have to agree that Cornish is a step down from Rudenko, will still be a decent domestic level s****, will also be a measuring stick with Joshua, can't see Hughie blasting him out of there but he could school & embarass Cornish, don't think Hughie has fought anybody taller than him?

    Indeed it's a step down.
He won't need more as 5 rounds to get rif of that man.

Rudinko is by far Fury's best opponent, and it's fine that he doesnt surpass that level yet.....

The divisions kindof on hold ATM anyways, with Tyson possibly giving back his titles to Wlad.

Huey, nowhere on Wilder's radar, and would be smashed by Povetkin.
Also, Huey can't really go the WBA minor route either as Ustinov, Jennings, and Ortiz, and even Oquendo are all in line ahead of him.

Heck, he can't even fight for a domestic title until Joshua moves on.

Just better to bide his time, he's only like 22, and wait for the division to open up.:thumbsup

Fury is too young. They need to be careful with him.

So we get to watch Hughie throw his pitty pat punches, and some will pretend he's a bad a$$. The Highlander, will enter the ring with his claymore sharpened, and lop of Hughies head.
