Surely one of the worst opponents you could possibly put in with Hughie if you were trying to trick people into enjoying Hughie Fury. Wach is slow, old and impossible to truly KO.

The truth is, Hughie Fury can be in exciting fights if you put him in with pressure fighters, KO artists etc. Then you get the tension of Hughie attempting to avoid being KO'd while not being able to hurt the other guy enough to stop the attacks. So Wilder is an interesting fight, even Whyte would be. Can Hughie get to the finish line? That's where the excitement lies. The other thing you do is you cut him badly in sparring then make him fight before the cut is healed. He starts going crazy like in the Pulev fight and you get a barn burner.

Either that or a UD for Wach. But the odds on that aren't so great given he's lost some of his sharpness as he's aged.

An opponent Hughie Fury might actually be able to offensively outpace.

I'm going with track star Hughie Fury by decision in the most boring fight since Chris Byrd vs DaVarryl Williamson.

I love short, sarcastic humor :sisi1

Hughie might be a player in the SCW division once it gets going. Wach is one big, tough motha but he's getting up there even by current age standards. Agree, Hughie most likely by  UD.

Not an interesting fight. Poor old Mariusz Wach has seen better days.

Hughie Fury vs Ajagba, Bakole, Hunter, Ruiz, Rivas or Ortiz would be better.

Wach has a durable chin. Will keep him in the fight but most likely lose on points

A knockout to Fury and his manager to comment on how we just saw shades of David Price.

Two of the best chins in the division. Hughie barely blinked when Povetkin timed him with perfect right hands over the top that would've dropped an elephant and I remember a 300lb Samuel Peter cracking him on the jaw with a massive right hand thrown from the bowels of hell and once again Hughie barely blinked even though he was like a 210lb weakling at the time.
