Rumour has it Hughie is on standby in case Pulev pulls out as AJ has to fight this year.

Easy sell with him being a Fury and relatively low risk opponent

Pretty sure that Hughie bounces feather fisted punches and jabs off Wach's dome every round on the way to a dull decision win.

Wach is 40 now. He really should be retiring.

As someone who has always liked the heavyweight division the most, and who also once attended a card headlined by Mariusz Wach, I have to say this fight sounds like it would be a tough watch.

They can't even use the director they brought in for the Pulev-Hughie fight, who kept cutting to wide shots from the last row of the packed arena DURING rounds, and who would fix his cameras on the faces of people in the audience DURING the rounds ... missing like 30 seconds of every round. Remember that? It was like he was shooting a film, and if you actually wanted to watch or score the fight he made sure you couldn't.

They couldn't even bring that guy in, because there won't be an audience or a full arena.

Those two guys fighting each other in an empty location is going to be death. Basically, an hour to spend talking about everything but the bout going on.

Joshua better hope Pulev doesn't pull out, this 240lbs Hughie was punching with devastating power last time out. I think this will be the first time we will see Mariusz Wach on his back.

    What's the card called?

I suggest "Night of the Walking Stiffs"

I kind of feel sorry for Hughie

He's got some solid footwork & uses his size well

A solid chin, probably tough as nails but genetically he's like a weak version of Tyson without the offensive gifts or maxed out size component.

WBO is vacant and Okolie is #1 and Glowacki #2.

That's a good answer, but you'd think someone would have steered Okolie the other way? Think Eddie is just sick of it?

Some people just don't seem to have the ability to throw a real straight right hand. Eubank Jr is an example.

    It's a big flaw.

This is where AJ stands out as a super heavy he has a fierce straight right hand like Wlad did. It's a gamechanger. Whyte doesn't like to straighten it out. Wilder can throw it straight and without a telegraph but rarely.

It's funny none of the super-heavys have mastered the straight down the pipe, quick and hard which is a game changer. AJ is getting there. Tyson has it but he isn't a natural puncher with it, he has to loop it for power.

Ortiz has it but is old and just a little small height-wise.

Oh dear that would be a horrendous watch. Hughie would refuse to engage and lose every round of a 12 round stinker.
