Hughie Fury vs Parker

I'd pick Parker. I've seen 5 Parker fights and 3 Hughie fights so don't take me as an expert, but I think Hughie isnt on the level as Parker. I think Ruiz Jr would also make good work of Hughie too. He's a good kid, and up there, and maybe I've just caught his bad fights, but I don't think he's at that next level

 

Parker. Hughie doesn't have the power to get him on the backfoot.

Huge step up from Kassi to Parker too...

I was thinking it whilst watching Parker/Ruiz.
So many HWs are fortunate not to be based in the UK where the talent level at HW is amazing.
Due to other HWs not being based in the UK they get top 10 rated where I dont think some would get in the UK top 5 alone.
Just look at how there isnt even 40 UK HWs and arguably the top 3 are from the UK in Fury, Joshua and Haye, then add in Whyte, Chisora, H Fury. If Price lands he can take out many HWs. Crazy talent in the UK at HW.
Im not sure Parker would beat many of the UK top 10.
I wouldnt favour Parker against T Fury, D Haye, A Joshua and think Parker would have his hands full with some of the others.
I think H Fury would out box Parker and win quite clearly

 

While I think Hughie would beat Ruiz Jr more convincingly he would likely lose to Parker.

It's a matter of styles, the way Hughie fights he'd allow Parker to come at him which suits Parker. I can't see Hughie pushing Parker back, he lacks the speed and power to do that like Ruiz did.

 

I don't think he is 1/10 as good as his cousin though. Maybe it's the medical problem though, the jury is still out.

 

Parker defeats either way , Hughie doesnt have the power to keep Parker off or make him worry about going inside.

Would be an awful fight to watch for sure. It won't happen though. Fury is never going to somewhere random like New Zealand to fight and the money isn't there to bring Parker to the UK. Hughie has a joke for a promoter and no proper TV contract. Hennessey is a fat joke of a promoter.

 

Nah it's Hennessy promoting both Fury's.

If Warren was their promoter he wouldn't of had then fighting on some tin pot channel like channel 5 for most of their early careers.

 

Hughie is with FW.

Parker v Fury would be a good fight to get on BT/Boxnation. It was going to be Haye anyway until the Bellew fight was made.
