That's debatable, which A-level guy has Hughie taken on? Takam was even against Povetkin when he got KO'd, Ruiz just had an iron chin and brought the pressure, he's going to be an issue for many.
neither of them are 6'6 fit specimens, ruiz was struggling against low leveled fighters before he did well against parker, he was hardly smashing everyone in his path. parkers stock fell, also hughie is alot more focused than his cousin, he doesnt let the madness kick in, hes just smaller and less powerful. furys movement will befuffle parker for a while.
He beat Kassi and a good EE fighter who went the distance with Lucas Browne. Hughie Fury has been in with a two top 50-30 heavyweights not that terrible. Agree though Parker is much more experienced
Didn't see the fight but from the rbr it sounded like a close affair with Hughie largely moving and holding. Lost money on the fight but am happy for Parker. Even though I banked on some home cooking its good it didn't happen, plus we get better fights with Parker as titlist in future.
Scored it 115-113 for Fury. Couldn't see a case for Parker winning. Hughie controlled the ring for the majority of the contest and landed the cleaner - albeit lighter - shots. Wasn't a very good fight but I suppose I'll need to watch it back.
I think they exposed each other as B level. Glad Parker won but boy is he slooooow. Need's a decent trainer to teach him some footwork. At least Fury was taught that running and flicking is not going to win him a title.
Curious what you think of this if you see it later. Neither guy impressive at all, but you're exactly right, Parker was the one who was exposed I had it 9-3 Fury. It was a robbery. Because I thought Fury clearly controlled even the rounds without a lot of punches I'm not accepting that it could go either way. When Parker came forward and barely threw and Fury moved and stayed away but landed a couple jabs, that's a Fury round. Parker didn't control rounds with his aggression, while Fury controlled rounds with his movement. Fury outboxed him. That's how it went almost the whole way. Parker's a good guy, good punching technique, but brings nothing more. Didn't jab coming in, doesn't know how to set anything up, poor footwork.
Furys jab was caught by Joe without scoring 99% of the time. That doesn't score as a shot...and therefore doesn't register on the scorecards
9-3 fury is impossible... learn to judge fights properly.. 9-3 fury Is as bad as your p4p list topic on here.. which is the worse p4p list I ever seen .
